to derp or not to derp; that is the question
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles...

I one-shot a KV-1S with my KV-2, and the T-150 seems pretty gross in the 7.3 test, so I think I'll stick with my trusty KV-2 and uberderp.

Only happens rarely if you pen him, but generally the 122 is a much better choice. On top of the fact that it has some good sloping on the front + almost as good mobility as the VK 3601.

I'd try the T150 I'm always ready to know the new tanks

It is a really boring tank with no strengths or weaknesses.  Speed is decent, armor is decent, gun is decent.  Doesn't have the crazy high alpha/low dpm/insane shell cost of the KV-1S, nor the KV-2 derpiness.

I like the T-150, it have better frontal armor than an M6 and a smaller profile. It's also faster than both the KV-2 and the ARL 44 which makes up for no longer being incredibly overarmored AND overgunned for it's tier.

The most boring tank ingame atm is the KV-3, it's too slow to use in any other way than to block roads in other than tier 6 games.

KV-1S.  Speed is too important to me to ever consider the T-150 or KV-2 as viable tanks to play.  The gun, while suboptimal (trades too much DPM/reload for that alpha), also works best when you have a tank that can really easily get up close to the enemy on flanking shots.  The raw maneuver, speed, and burst of the KV-1S makes it a dangerous, powerful tank in any match it's put into in such a way that the KV-2 and T-150 can never hope to compete.  The KV-1S is rendered the most maneuverable of the lot with a gun that heavily compliments the maneuver instead of being condemned by it.

Hopefully more people will notice how powerful the KV-1S is when it's no longer competing against an overpowered behemoth of a tank for its tier.

Even when the KV-3 was tier 6, I considered it to be a superior tank, faster, hits just as hard, and less fires.

I actually like the T-150. I use the 107mm on my KV currently anyways, and the T-150 has same gun, lower profile and more armor than the KV-2. I plan on keeping the KV-1, selling the KV-2, keeping the T-150, selling the KV-3 and keeping the new KV-4.

SInce KV-2 got several buffs to mobility and its gun, I'd say the KV-2.

I think for 107 lovers the T-150 might be the tank of choice, as it has somewhat stronger armour. The KV-2 will appeal to 152 derpers while the 1S is for those poor buggers who don't have an IS yet but still want to play around with 122mm love guns.

KV-2.

It received a few small buffs along with the increase of the health pool to 860 hp.

152 fires about 1 second faster and view range got buffed by 28m along with getting its traditional second loader maxing the crew out at 6.

Accuracy for the 152 was also buffed from .69 to .60 which is making a load of difference with autoaim shots on stationary distant tanks.

Seems to have gotten a buff to accel also as it seems much faster to get to top speed on the flats.

All in all they made the kv-2 that much better and even more fun in high tier games.

Why thumbs down?

if you don't know, you should leave these forums as your mental age is clearly below the "teen" rating of this game.

Best T6 when it's out? Probably KV2 for the sheer fun of the 152.

I despise the KV-2 152mm. My vote is for the KV-1S.

KV-1S.

As others have said, armor and a bit of heath was all that kept the KV-3 from blocking out the KV-1S.  Not only does it have the highest alpha that isn't a derp gun *cough cough* 152 *cough cough*, but mobility to bring the pain where ever needed.  The KV-2 will still be powerful, but now its at a whole new level.  The T-150, seems ok, but it lacks the D-2-5T which the KV-3 had.  Again, as others said, the armor is decent, mobility is ok, firepower is kinda good.

I'm sure we will see the KV-1S invade Medium TCs, the KV-2 will be there, and so will the T-150.  Tier 6 now can get out of the KV-3's shadow.

trying the KV-1s out again now that I am playing on the EU server.  This post has the right of it, "the mobility to bring the pain".  Check out the reply of a match with tier IX heavy to KV-1 spread of vehicles.  No way I could have this kind of fun in a KV-3 now, KV-2 or T-150 in 7.3.  In a match with tier 6 and down, you have enough armor to confidently engage mediums and the mobility to choose when to fight the tier 6 and 5 heavies.  In a match where you are not the top tier, you have the mobility to go where you can take flanking shots.

KV-1S for me. It sucks at first, but once when you get the 122mm D-2-T, it plays like a mini IS. Plus, it has great mobility.

KV-1S, I wish I had researched it instead of the KV3 back when that was tier 6 also, its just a damn good tank, with a damn good gun when your not fighting tier 9 or 10.  reloads in 12 sec with the d-2-5t, and will kill most other tier 6s very quickly, it was made for medium companies.

To be fair, I sold the KV-2 and the T-150 the moment the patch dropped.  I can't imagine the KV-2 is much better than the old KV was.  And I'm sure that the T-150 is less than the old KV-3 was.  But, nothing could be better than my KV-1S.  This is my favorite tier six tank I've driven so far.  It is so much freakin' fun.  Great gun.  Great mobility.  Enough armor for mediums and the odd favoroable bounce.  Great tank.

KV-2 is easier,  since it can use everything on that first turret,  The Derp works and you can derp your way through everything...Its a pretty simple tank....

T-150 requires the Tracks + Turret for the 107,  a bit more challenging then the KV-2...Have them both and will be keeping them both.  They make great money and cheap to fix...
