T34 issues

US T34.
Whats going on here? Just had a battle with 4 of em on the other team, and of course we had NONE. (Damned MM is STACKING tank types AGAIN and the Devs don't seem to care? Got a 26 page thread of complaints on it THIS TIME!)
Was shooting them with the long barrel 105 on the Tiger II.
Could only get damage with hits on the side of the turret?
Hit em several times, 3 times on 1 and 4 times on the other, in the hull front (3) and on the sides (4) in different areas and NO DAMAGE!
If I had recording turned on would turn in the film!
Recording is turned on now so if something isn't quite right will send in film!

Learn to aim, and where to shoot. I can pen them no problem with my KV3's 100mm and my tiger P. You just gotta know where to shoot them.

I've had no problem penning the front hull armor with my ZiS-6 107mm gun, and the side of the hull is even more of a joke, so the long 105 should be like a hot knife through butter.

paper thin armor that can be penned by a pee shooter and you bounce. now that's funny!

I have seen that happen and just ticks you off. I shot both a T-50 and an AMX 12t, in the back with a 107MM, from a KV and never penned either nor damaged either, the
other day on Fjords. Man was I furious. Before you say it, I was as close as 100MM or closer and there was not much angle involved. Both of the left to cap our base
instead of fighting with me. They would probably won but they chose to scat with no damage, while the getting was good.

In 1 game i had 7 "penetration" shots on the same vehicle, a t34, but did 0 damage

OK, I dont know why some of the repliers dont understand and say "Wha". I took one of your negatives off for you. It sounds like what you are experiencing is the PENNITRATION with NO DAMAGE that everyone seems to be having issues with since the 7.2 patch. I have had many frustrating times of this happening as well, not just with the T34. I sincerely hope that the devs will fix this problem in the near future. Some people have posted that it is actually a critical hit that is damaging internal components and is just being said wrong in voice message.

Basically yes. I hit em but got NO damage. And I hit em for probably a total of 10 hits on the 2 tanks just in that battle. Damaged em when I hit em in the side of the turret, of all places.
I shot one in the side 3 times in the hull and the other 4 times in the front and prior to that the one I shot in the front I also shot in the side 1 time earlier, just after I shot it I shot a KV in the side at the same distance for over 300 damage!
Not sure didn't look at which ones but 2 of the 3 stacked T34s were in the same clan?
It was in the same battle. Wish I had record on I would have sent the film in.
As to the comment about knowing where to shoot and such............ check my service record............. got a large number of sniper medals and such.............. been running since closed beta........... think I got a pretty good idea where to shoot tanks.

The secret of driving a T34 is knowing how to angle so the enemy's shots will hit your magic shell absorbing tracks. They've saved my T34 many times, getting only 'damaged' by shots from tier 10 guns.
With the small sloped hull and big tracks, you're never going to have a certain kill against a T34 whose turret is pointed towards you. Don't over-commit against them.
