Okay just found out today about the KARL, I didn't even know that that type of tank was made so my question is... Is/could the KARL going to be put into the game?  That round it fires is insane!!!! I would love to see this in the game, I just want to know if it could be considered.  And for those of you who don't know what the KARL is here are some pictures of it:

Please post on the thread!  I want to see other people's opinion on this artillery!

As if the T92 240mm isn't enough? The Karl-Gerat uses a 600mm *60cm* mortar...

No, the Ratte had 280mm guns. This looks closer the the Monster (800mm).

Karl-Geraet. 10 min reload time, and even then the terrain has to be a 0' and repositioned after every shot otherwise it can't be reloaded. It was designed to knock down fortresses and fortifications, not decimate ground units. And with a top speed of 10 km/h; following WoT physics that is likely to be it's terminal speed down hill and going at the slightest incline you would probably get 2-3 km/h... Enemy arty would see you when you fired and take you out in 1 hit. If you really want to fire 1 shell and be 1 shotted then I can see the sense in having this.

Well not all of Tanks' info on the tanks are correct so therefor they could modify this a slight bit.  Anyway, I just thought it was cool and felt the need to see if other people wanted to have this tank in the game or not.  But you have to admit, that is a pretty awesome looking mortar!

This is not an Anti-Tank Artillery, it is a siege weapon. BTW: It's not called "Karl," but "Karl Geraet" (Karl Device). Also, the rate of fire would make it obsolete. One shot per game?

The Moerser Karl (Geraet 40 in the pics you posted) is extremely illogical to add to the game.  You're talking about a 600mm mortar (short range) that would only be able to fire 1-2 shells per battle, would take forever to move into position, and would be extremely inaccurate.

Well maybe like as a non player add on for clan wars or something...like how they're adding air strikes and off map artillery...maybe like that you set it up somewhere and mark it on where to fire

Why not wait until the rage dies down when they introduce the Sturmtiger before contemplating adding yet another vehicle that most likely will "never" see the light of day in this game *cough*Ratte*cough*...

Or lets implement this one:

http://www.e94114.de...eien/dora13.jpg

The new german tier 12 arty. 15300 alpha, 220 m splash damage. Right now arty is underpowered and the current tier 8s can't counter tanks above tier 6.

Do it Wargaming.

One more issue I forgot to address. Both variants of the Mörser Karl, the 54cm Gerät 41 and the 60cm Gerät 40, both required a separate vehicle to load them. They could not carrry more than 2 shells on board (1 in breech and 1 in the loading tray) and relied on a Munitionsschlepper variation of the Panzer IV to carry and place shells in the loading tray for loading. The devs would not add the Munitionsschleppers and even if they did, that would be an incredible weakness turning people away from the Karl. All that's required to render it useless would be to destroy the Munitionsschlepper, which by the way would not be hard; one massive thinly armored ammo rack.
