Yeah, so I discovered rather quickly. Trying to save up for a tier 6 medium (E8? 3601? 3001(h) I can't decide yet, lol), which is why I don't want to blow the 100k. Getting the hang of proper scouting is pretty tough, too. Already up to the Cougar and still have a lot to learn.

OP has played approximately 1500-1550 battles in the 2801 in the last 30 days since 7.2 came out (you can tell if you analyze his tank tracker stats), so if we accept the claim of a 7M profit, that's about 4-5K per match on average. Not entirely out of the question, especially if premium is being run, and if the OP isn't a bad player (55.5% win rate in this tank implies he's ok).

Now I'll admit I don't drive a 2801, but I do have a 50-2 and I run the 5000 credit fuel consumable, so that should make up for any difference in repair costs. I still make money in that tank with that setup.

Well mr stat checker I'm not mad bout u checking stats but go look at my Chaffee and 2801 and tell me what you think of my efficiency. Second there is zero comparison between 2801/ chafee and 50 2 absolutely none go get one

WOOHOO, finally done grinding the Leopard. No free xp used, free xp goes to upgrading the VK2801

My limited experience with all teir 5 scouts is making money is hard w/out premium, but living until the end of the battle greatly improves the chances of making money.
Dying in one shot almost always loses money.

However, running a teir 9 and 10 is much more of a drain. I can transfer VK2801 crew to the T-15 (except gunner), grind the crew and make massive profits, then switch back to VK2801 and just have fun w/out caring about credits.

Just getting started on my Leo, but from what I read so far sounds great.  I never tried a T50-2 but have it researched.  Looking forward to the VK2801 when I get there.  Tazilon you have 2k more battles in the 2801 than I have total my god!  lol
