Too little too late. Our team fell out of the competition because we lost touch with a few members.

I do not agree with this change. This is a battle {season} it is not FAIR to those that made the effort to show up every week for this.  To allow changes to be made to rosters that did not set up properly just stinks. This is the first and last contest i will enter you CANNOT change the rules part way through for a few.
Like the lolitrackor companies they changed the payout "because it's real gold" because too many teams won this STINKS ALSO

I have to agree Accurator with changes to the roster for the classic tourney is not fair, if teams cant field a team they should not have signed up to the battle. Now I am on a winning team that can field a battle and these others have cried so much, you have to change for them is wrong.

I'm sorry you guys feel this way, but ultimately we're going to do what's right to improve the level of competition.

Then don't hold them, doing this dilutes competition and just breeds resentment because it allows people who don't really care to be as lackadaisical as they want because it'll just be changed to suit them.

Stop punishing good behavior habits (punctuality, working as a team, just plain, good competitive vigor) and rewarding bad habits (Dropping out randomly, being unreliable or just being a bad team player)

Its foolish and completely backwards.

this is all minor stuff, nothing that should change what teams are winning their division at this point. its the first league run by WG, theyre still seeing what rules work. hopefully the rules will be set in place for the next league after this one is done.

imho they should allow a 2-3 person roster change 5 weeks in, thats hopefully enough to replace some no-shows but not enough to completely change a team.

I agree taking a step backwards to reward teams that did a poor job in battles or attendance does not make for better battles. It let's shitty teams compete rather than be eliminated so the better teams can proceed to the next level. Why not change the rules for the groups that did not make the first cut if you are going to reward this group might as well reward all groups THAT APPLIED if you want more competition. Unless it was in the rules when I signed up then let the bad teams go and reward those that showed up and FOLLOWED the rules. You cant make things up as you go along. If changes are needed apply them to the next tournament not this one.  You set the rules stick by them as we have.

This is a Tourney and the rules where set BEFORE this all started and all agreed to them TERMS. Just like it is for any tourney you DONT change the rules of the Tourney part way though it to please others, that is PANDERING. Now I know you russians are tops in chess and have tournies with them so know full well that what you have done with this Tourney is UNFAIR and the rules should be changed but AFTER this one and applied to the Next Season.

The issue with your argument is that this is NOT a tournament, it is a league. Every competetive league setup since the creation of online gaming allows open roster movements through week 7 of a 10 week season, at which point, the rosters are locked until the completion of the playoffs. In all honesty, I am not sure why you folks are screaming about them allowing roster changes in the least. Perhaps next season you would like them to allow the clan to enter the league as a whole and have a 100 member roster? In reality, you really shouldn't complain, if you are in a top position, the liklihood of a team dropping 15 people and recruiting 15 ringers to replace them is rather absurd. I would venture to say that the teams on top will remain on top regardless of roster positions. In no way does allowing substitutions halfway through the season diminish any groups "accomplishments" nor does it make it more difficult. I do find it rather humorous that someone(s) has referred to the halfway mark in a league as an "accomplishment" as to being at the top of a division, particularly when by their own admission it was over people who didn't field teams (or full points). Quite an accomplishment, keep up the good work of showing up in these cases.

Play your game, let WG run the league.

No where in the rules My linkis there anything about a a change in roster. It does state that the rules are subject to change at anytime and agree with that but still think it is not "kosher" to change the rules part way though a Tourney. You have not even fully seen the results of this one to base needed changes for the next ones. That is just my opinion.

As for it being a League then like Major Sports and Online Gaming you can change roster but that time frame is ALWAYS limited to the first few weeks, not at the end of the season. The teams had plenty of time to fill out its roster and have full teams for each battle. It was but one battle per week with a team of 20 people whom said they would be there to participate. It is not the other teams fault they could not fill them out.
