This suggestion is to have some sort of buyback program for players to rebuy tanks they have bought then sold. I love certain tanks and would love to have them back but I have sold them to move up in the Tech Trees while I do not have the credits to buy them. This system would also help players to rebuy tanks the sold by accident.

Specifics

1 A player can start a buyback program for 1 tank for 100,000 credits or for 25 Gold.(Cost will most likely need adjusting)

2 You select a tank you have previously played to be on the program.

3 Everyday the cost of the tank reduces by 5% until the price drops to 50% of the actual cost(10 Days).

4 Once you have rebuoght the vehicle the program can not start again for 15 days(to stop any abuse of the program).

5 You can add another slot to the program for another 100,000 credits or 25 Gold.

6 For Premium tanks the cost is reduced by 2.5% a day until the price is 75% of the actual cost.

7 Sales will drop the price by 25% from the cost of the tank on the sale if the tank is already 50% off. (25% of 50% = 37.5%)

*Feel free to comment or add suggeestions to my idea.

*gold tanks would be bought with gold or credits. If to be bought back by credits it would correspond with twice the original prices if the gold used to buy the tank if converted to credits and work down from that number. This makes premium tanks harder to buyback with credits but still allows the process to take place.

ex. Ram II cost 1750 gold     1,750 gold=700,000 credits     700,000*2= 1,400,000    25% off 1,400,000= 1,050,000
Ram II fully researched on buyback would cost 1,050,000 credits

Wow. This is probably one of the smartest ideas any player has made. Well done, and I'd try to get this directly to a mod or gm in game. Their usually on in general/tank company chats. Very very VERY good idea. +1

Or, and this is just a suggestion, please don't take offence,  but try this: if you want to own a tank you used to own and sold... Save up!

This would be really awesome because I have already bought tanks i used to own and plan on doing it again. Having to pay full price for the tank, modules and crew again is a big deterrent in buying those lower tier tanks and I kinda think the game needs more players with mid tiers right now.

Nice suggestion.

And just as a side note, just because you say "no offense" that doesnt automatically make an offensive comment un-offensive(?) (to the above poster)
No offence, you're a dick.

None taken.
You will still need to save up credits but not as much. If we already used the tank it should cost less much like a used car. The program will save time and money.

Ex. of the buyback program
You and your brother/friend/other have a fight. They know your account to WOT and get on and sell your Maus/IS-7/ect. You can place the tank(s) you lost on the buyback program. After you save up enough credits(3,050,000 for Maus) you can repurchase the vehicle for half the cost saving you time. This would especially help players w/out premium accounts to buyback tanks they lost/sold.

P.S.
This is in the suggestion forum so Devs will probably never see it. :(

Great Idea. I would like to buy back my T-44 (sold it waaaaaay back when i got the T-54 [First month of release]) and since then they have added more to the tank like the LB-1 etc. that i'd like to try. Problem is i also have other tanks i am gettin (hellcat soon) and while my T59, Lowe and T-34 all make me lots of credits, it still takes time to grind the credits for the T-44 and by then i end up researching the next tank in a tree so i get that instead. This would make trying out old tanks after patches much easier, not to mention that this will increase middle-tier population as more players go back to the "fun" tiers after getting their tier X tanks

I tried that, and sure of that never had worked. You would to put a lot of time towards getting the amount of XP and Credits.

Buyback In-game Function Program - Rebuying tanks you have already played and accidentally sold.
** Fixed

My Idea is for premium tanks were able to Buy it back using credits instead of Gold again [ Think About One time payment ]
and another is  for some unique tanks that has been removed from in-game store

Of course, who would sell? but accident can happen you know.

Love this idea so much. Started lines but abandoned them when it was too overwhelming to grind so many at once, or sold elited tanks to go to the next one. With the line changes, there are plenty of new upgrades if you did them a while back. I would love to go back to the 3002DB and go for the Tiger for cheaper.

Though I would say to make it a little easier. Buying back a tank you have played would be 75% of the original cost, if you have researched the next vehicle in the line, the cost is 50% of original. Lastly, if the buyback tank is elited, you get it for 40% of the original cost. I don't think there's a real need to put the time limits on there, since you can buy tanks you've already played at any time provided you have the credits.
