When people complain about not being able to do anything when at the bottom of the MM, there's lots of advice about what to do.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything other than advice in print.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so lets see some replays of how lower tanks should play (eg. Tier 5 medium in a match with mostly Tier 7-8)

Does a tier 1 in a tier 4 match count?

I don't often do tier 5 battles (because grinding bigger stuff, also I don't have tier 5 meds anymore, just a StuG and a KV) but if I get a good enough replay, I'll post it.

Got one, and had my settings not reset themselves (including recording battles) on the 23rd of april.  I'dve had a third which would've been perfect which would've been me calling myself useless on steppes w/ my PZ 5/4 in a tier 9 (3x) match.  Ended up flanking three tanks and killing two while they were distracted, the third turned to me and his original fighting tanks got him.  The E-75 on my team said, "Yeah, you sure were useless there Pz 5/4" and i replied "My mistake then, but who's really wrong here with my 75 L/48?".  2 kills, 4 damages, and two detected.  These two are an E8 battle (and you can ignore the gold round usage, as if you were in a 3k series tank it would've penned with AP respectively).  The other is a Pz 5/4 round and it's only gun is the 75 L/48.  Which even at tier 5 sucks, let alone siter 6 on this tank.  I pretty well use only gold rounds on it to get it's pen up to a decent value for it's tier, ~110 avg otherwise, up to 143.  These two tanks are flankers.

Killed an E100 in my T20, probably about 60% of it anyway.

He was facing a tiger 2 and I just wasnt threatening enough so he let me get around behind him and pound his rear...took about five shots...and in a T20 thats a long time.

I forget how much XP I got in this match... or if we even won or not. But I did a nice permatrack on some poor IS-3. Too bad the T32 next to me was too numbskulled to take advantage of it...
