T-29 to T-32+, not sure if better

I am not sure if it’s worthwhile to research to the T-32, M-103, and T-110E5 tanks. I am having a hard time understanding what is so great with the American heavy line tanks above Tier VII. To me everything I have read about these tanks through the forums and chat seems like an administrative and maintenance nightmare. I’m sure the higher tier tank drivers do enjoy their tanks. I would like to hear from those higher tier American heavy tank drivers as to what swayed them to their tanks and why they continued researching the tree.

Well not sure what you mean by admin maint nightmare, same as any other tier 10.
As far as the performance of the tanks,
T29 classic American heavy hull down arguably best tier 7 close competator for the Tiger p
T32 another classic , Amazing turret good mobility , best face hugger in the game
M103 and T110 , game changers, bouncy highly sloped frontal Armor, good mobility, and an Epic High Pen gun.
American heavy line is now very competative and really fun. T110 is the only Clan wars challenger to the mighty IS7

I loved the T34 (Keyword "Loved", as in "Do not anymore"), I love the M103, and I will love the T110. They are fast, hard hitting, and while the T34 did have amazingly squishy armor (Still does), the M103s 127mm of armor is misleading, as any angling whatsoever significantly increases chances of a ricochet. And to hit the turret in the weakspots accurately, you have to be close enough that you may as well just charge him and hope for the best, while getting a nasty surprise from the manuverability and hard hitting gun. The T110, I am not sure of yet, but it has the same manuverability, more HP, and, if I'm not mistake, more armor. The T32, I haven't played post-7.2, so I don't know, but if it's like it's pre-7.2 self, it's still not somethinig to be ignored.

the t32 is a horrid piece of crap the only thing it gots going for it is the super impenetrable turret. the top gun on the t32 is the same top gun from the t29 and it is also the starter gun for the m103, the 105 is awesome on the t29 but it is utter garbage on the t32 and the m103 considering you have to carefully choose where to aim on the enemy tank to get a pen when you are facing mainly tier 8 through 10 i cant tell you much about the m103 when its mods are researched cause its still in nub form for me

T32
-best turret and hulldowner
-decent hull against lower tanks and teaches you to abuse terrain against tanks of same tier or higher
-meh gun but sufficent and forces you to aim for weak spots
-overall, playing it made me a better tanker
M103
-great gun
-ok turret
-ok hull
-good mobility
-good dpm 9.49 seconds reload with rammer puts it at 2529 dpm.
-overall very fun tank
T110
-don't have yet

T32 is a lower profile T29 (Epic turret and harder to hit) the front armor is very good as well (better angle and thicker to begin with) Menuverability is still good. (It used to be epic in beta, but i think they nerfed it a bit)
I don't really play the M103.. I sold mine since I already had T110 when patch dropped, they seem contenders though due to the crazy pen gun.
T110 is the only heavy tank I drive anymore, I constantly have to remind myself that I'm in a heavy, not a large medium.. frontal armor is like a maus, I can't say enough about the gun (I shot a (t-50) light tank charging our artillery from over 700meters away accross the map on (I think it was) Swamp.. I had to lead the thing and only saw his indicator, but I got him with that crazy gun. It can race a Type 59 up a hill and keep up, as well as the patton, and only slightly trails the T-54.. T110 is a god-send for mediums for bringing heavy firepower with them.

Couldn't disagree with you more on the T32. In my experience, the increased armor and overall mobility make it a more than worthy threat despite it being tier 8. I only have a handful of battles in it (21), but that aside; I wouldn't go back to the T29.

Thanks all for your input. I do love the T-29 because I know how to handle that tank. In matches, tank drivers mentioned (chat) saying things about their tanks (in the negative) which make me want to reconsider stopping doing the research tree. However you guys do show there is more upside that downside. I realize not every tank in the tree research line will be perfect. But as Dirty Harry says, "You got to know your limitations"

I loved my T29, but the T32 gonna add to my garage when move up into the M103 this coming weekend. And yes, abuse the terrain in your favor in it.

To be honest, your concern sounds more centered on high tier tanks in general than it does on these specific vehicles.
As you already have a Type 59, financing these tanks shouldn't be a problem for you. (If you have premium, even Tier Xs are profitable). I'm not really sure what other areas would constitute a "administrative nightmare".

For such a super impnetrable turret I cant play a game without the gun geting taken out one or more times.
