[A note]

[Greetings, I wrote this for the EU forums, but since they appear to be down still.. (12 hours now) I am just going to go ahead and post it here, Keep in mind that this is very much still a beta thing I'm just messing around with, it SHOULD be working fine, but WG's last change to sounds broke it -_-' (Or atleast so I've been told) with that said, here's a copy paste of what I wrote for the EU forums.]

The Amoeboid soundpacks

Welcome to my simple post here on the WoT forums, to keep it short, I am going to post random soundpacks I make when I'm bored if anyone wants them :)

Ok, since I'm just getting started with the sound modding and all, I am mostly curious to see if anyone like the current one I made, I made it about 2 weeks ago and I been trying to figgure out if I did something wrong with it, but after looking through it all, and having people help me look through it, I am certain it is nothing I did wrong, but it is simply a problem between the game and the sounds.

The Zerg pack

Now this is a rather weird one, I have been having quite abit of issues getting a program to actually record the sounds to upload them to YT so I can show them, sadly none of my programs seems to want to do that (Fraps, Roxio) which is rather frustrating, but nonetheless the show must go on.

Preview of what they say can be found here:
Spoiler

This is still very much in trial period, and I am still trying to figgure out why some of the sounds wont play, but I have been told by many people that it's because of WG's programming to try to make the sounds more accurate.

But if you still want to try it out, here's a link to a download: http://speedy.sh/MUN...d-Zerg-pack.rar  (It's a speedyshare link, I can't seem to upload anything to the forums, but if you got a problem let me know and I shall try to find another spot to upload it too )

People who heard it said this about it:

"You have, officially, made the weirdest sound mod that I have ever heard. What have you been smoking?" -Nobleplatoon

As always, since this pack contains sounds from Blizzard inc, so by using this you take full blame if you get busted, and releaving Wargaming from all responsibility.

I'm not one for fancy posts, so I just wrote about the soundpack in general :)

(Also thanks to Nobleplatoon and Mastertaco whom both helped me while making this )

And if you do find any major fudgeups do let me know and I'l see if I can fix it.

To do list:
-Try to fix the broken sound.
-Find a better way to describe the voices. (Because saying that a dead gunner goes "roawr thump" just doesn't cut it)

Installing guide:
1. Download the Zip file
2. Unpack it somewhere
3. Drag the files from the folder into World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.2\audio
4. If said folder does not excist, make one and drag all the audio files from the other folder into that one.
5. Boot the game up and hope it works ._.
