This is awesome, but I can't help but think, "Aww, the Kiwis got gypped again..."

Other than that, a good list of charities. Excited for the Paralized Veterans of America drive.

I bought some gold last weekend to support the ANZAC Day charity. They are Kiwis arent they?

I am also very pleased to see WG supporting a Canadian charity also.

Now I have to buy some more!

My dad was an Amvet member he would have turned 99 on the 19th.He was a member of the 120th evac.hospital,They followed Patton around a while when they liberated Bucanwald consintration camp towards the end of WWII

I am a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV).  Please consider them for your next charity event.


These drives, I believe, remind our younger players (under 45) of the true cost of war.  War is not glamorous or exciting.

Well this is good World of Tanks is giving back to the U.S. veterans, but are you going to run something very much the same for the Canadian Veterans? I am sure that there is some Canadian Legions or Charities that help veterans that would like the extra bit of income. I am a Canadian Veteran, Vehicle Tech 22yrs Canadians Forces, 4 of which was with the Airborne

Its great that WG is doing this. I am a 10 year vetran of the Air Force. Was a Combat Medic, served in just about every Arabic Country in some point or another..had the pleasure of working with Canadians, Russians, Germans, English, French, Aussies, Iraqis and even a few Italians. One thing I learned that was very enlightening was that no matter where the warrior came from..we all had the same goal. To be safe and pray that we never have to pull the trigger. The Russian was an Aviator and very proud of his country..I asked about all the issues in Russia, he shrugged his shoulders and said liberty is not easy..but its worth the effort. The Iraqi medic I help trained Youseff said he just wants his kids to be able to go to school without worrying about bombs or religious groups running amok. The English guy, who was actually Scottish kept playing bagpipes..no idea how he got bagpipes to our location..but good on him haha. The Germans laughed..a lot. Once EOD detonated something which made me jump..they started laughing stated something in german something about explosive farts. The French guy was a A hole..I put deepheat in his shoes. Long story short as an American I like to celebrate all nations..they all go through hell at one point or another for the simple job of protecting their homeland.

Actually, Kiwis are New Zealanders, and a lot of them were complaining on the forum that the ANZAC Drive was only going to an Australian charity.

Military Families Fund is a Canadian charity.

I knew that as ANZAC is the association of the two countries.

However I did not know that NZ was shut out of donations.

Maybe your post will bring about a positive change for NZ military charities. Good luck m8!

I too am a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and was some what disappointed not seeing DAV on the list and I do hope they will consider them for the next charity event as well

I am like others in the thread as i am also a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV)...even though i see they are not being used as one of the groups i hold my hat off that you guys are supporting the Vets.  Maybe in the future the DAV will be considered .  Thank you for supporting the Vets WG hats off to ya.
