I actually dont see anything different, I would if it checked spelling, but other than that there is no usable function i would use except hitting Post Button. Other than that who cares what the forum looks like, Nothing that should cause breaking news, half the people if not told would not know the difference..lol

I don't really mind, the old one had more of a decorative feel but this is cool   I especially like the new emote menu....

Terrible idea.

Hard to read, no "Last read post" ...all the stuff that makes using a forum QUICK.

Well the loss of gif avatars kinda makes me sad, some of those were really interesting (Lert's blinking cat comes to mind).

Besides that I don't like the fact that Linear+ was removed, I'm also missing the ability to view 40 results/posts per page.  Brightness could be toned down,  I just got up and my eyes are telling me to stop looking at this screen more then usual.

Another feature removed:  when you insert a link, you can no longer add your own text through the prompt box.  If you want to assign text to the link, you must do the code yourself.

Have you tried doing that yet though? It is finicky and doesn't like letting you put in your text. New forum is too streamlined. I kinda like the look, but I don't like that they changed some of the buttons to opaque links and there were too many functional changes for the worse in this update.

Neither do I, I am using the Motorola Razr Android and I have the exact same problems.

It's there it just isn't as easy to figure out.  If you move to the right side of the thread listing before you get to the who posted when section, there will be a little grey circle with an arrow.  When you hover over it the circle will go black.  Click on it and it drops down a preview of the thread showing you the first post, first unread post, and last post.  Just beneath that it will say "X unread posts - go to first unread post"

many people have issues with basics like editing posts, did you test this new forum package on different browsers before changing it?

Having issues making edits with Chrome and Firefox. IE works fine but... Please oh PLEASE don't make me use IE.
