Actually it was a triple in this case, but I had the star and x3 on my T110 and played a game on Province that was a draw.  The star and x3 were gone after the draw.  I didn't get the x3 experience on either the draw or a subsequent victory.

If you are able to confirm this bug, gold or a Type 59 are always welcome.

Now that would be some compinsation lol. I have never had that happen before. but have seen strange bugs happen some times thats probably all it was.

Had a battle on Province this morning in my Tiger II that ended in a draw....X3 was still there after it was over.
