This is a wonderful and very welcomed change. Now if only we could get our old back these new forums wouldn't be so bad.

Might I also suggest you remove the zero-post forums' topics from the "forum topics" feed on the main game website and forum front page? Sure, you won't get topics from those forums on the main page or website, but you'll also no longer have the embarrassment of your main website or front page plastered with gold spammers.

Maybe the requirment should be more stringent and longer.  Maybe it should be 50 games before allowing to post.

Small bug to report I guess.   I had to go into game and play a game since it'd been a while since I had on this account.  The worse part was figuring out that is what I needed to do, because when I tried to post it only said that the topic was locked.   I thought my thread about arty had been locked. And then I went to another thread and it said locked.    But then on the main page none of them said locked. I thought I had been banned without warning or notice.

Luckily I saw this post and figured I needed to play a game to update things.   Played a game and it fixed it right away.

For most people this probably won't be a problem.    But for returning players who haven't played a recent game, you could be locking them out from posting if they come back, and want to post before they try it out.   They might think they've been banned as I did for a minute. As there is no proper explanation for why you can't post, just it saying the entire thread is locked rather than the reply button.

I think it's a great idea. 20 games still takes a while to get and if someone still abuses it they can be banned and have to do it all over again.

I don't think it was a major problem before but gold spammers and no battle trolls are annoying.

What about guests from the EU forum? I saw one in new player section already asking what was up.

Took a while to notice this thread. I was wondering why I couldn't post. I thought I had received an RO or something. Good idea, though I wasted about half an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't post.

20 games is not a lot but it will cut down on the bots and trolls who make accounts to just start post wars. one and a half to two hours of time playing will cut down on them a bit seeing how most of them just can not stay with any thing for that long. great job devs I will take back some of the bad things I said about you lol just kiding.

a great move indeed. now we will don't have to worry people constantly creat new account to post some advertisement (or troll).
and also hopefully encourage people to use their real account instead of fake one
