I could not believe it but it really happened, to everybody on the map at the same time, creepy, wonder how they are gonna fix this one....

Simply download the attached zip file, then make sure World Of Tanks is not running.
When you unpack the .zip file you get a world of tanks replay file, simply open that file and WoT will start to play the video.
remember wot cannot be running when you try to play the video
If you were on this server at this time and saw this happen, please leave a note saying so,
if you have a battle recording, upload it here as a zip file:  to create an uploadable file.

1   navigate to "C:\Program Files\World_of_Tanks\replays"
2   locate the respective replay file, rightclick on it and chose add to zip file,  Rename it to 'invisitank(your name here)'
3   attach the zip or rar file to your reply in this forum thread.

if you have no files in your 'replay' folder then check to make sure you have allow battle recording checked in W.O.T. settings .

Count so far :
Replays uploaded ---  2
instances reported --  3

the world of tanks server will not allow you to send a replay file, you have to save it as a zip or something like that,  you moron

internet sarcasm fail :(

but seriously, i see nothing in that video that does not conform with current wot los mechanics.  I suggest you do some reading on the wiki and googling and stuff so that you can understand how things work.  It is not a bug, it is the way the devs want the game to work.

That being said, I am in no way saying that the way it works is perfect, just that it is working as the devs intend, so you cannot call it a bug, know what im sayin?

So I downloaded and watched your replay.

I'm calling it a severe latency issue.  At just over 13:00, while you're driving forwards, your tank seems to be "stuttering".  Classic signs of lag, probably server side, which would account for the missing tanks.

There's been some crazy lag going on this weekend.  Invisible tanks, little lag spikes, big lag spikes.

Still playable but has got me killed a few times and is very annoying!!!

Obviosley i was working my way around a invisitank that was hiding behind the same rock,
if you watch closely the ping has no major fluctuations during the whole event you mentioned
or the whole game for that matter.

Possible, but if that's the case, then there sure were alot of dead tanks around you because it did it again when you began moving forward when you came from behind the rock.

Also, I doubt it's a local problem with your machine or even your connection seeing as everyone, even the other team, comments on it at the beginning of the match.  Server issue.

Mon, there have been many many more invisi-tanks, of late.  I have been noticing it and so have a lot of those that just don't post on the forums.  Lots of
in game complains, especially in the Tier 5-7 range.  I don't know or even care why but it is true.  I have no footage of shots to show but, well, it is what
it is.

go to "C:\Program Files\World_of_Tanks\replays"

create a zip file of the replay file when you find the correct replay video.

If there are none then make sure you have allow battle recording enabled in the wot options.

once you have it zipped up or you can use winrar, simply attach the file to your post.

for some odd reason it wont allow you to simply attach a replay file

it did look a little bit laggy at the beginning though.you were skipping and then ur accuracy was off
like you were lagging.

interesting stuff.

keep it posted if anything more happens

Servers have historically gone weird during the days leading to an update, could be that?
Haven't seen the replays.

But in general, bear in mind that spotting works something like this:
http://videogamesdai...se-review-3.jpg

Different game but the point stands.
Nearby obstacles break your LoS in a big wedge.

If you see an enemy behind an obstacle, it may be because of a friendly somewhere else spotting it.
If that player is killed or takes cover, he no longer spots it and you also lose sight.

OK just saw the replays, I believe that is the pre-patch weirdness.

It's the server.  I just got out of two different battles where I was rubber-banding all over the place.  My tank is driving along in one spot and then slows down, and then speeds way up back to its original position.

Network checked, no packet loss whatsoever.  Server problem.
