Jpz-E-100 or StugE (to some ppl ) , what do you think about it ?
It will have a lot armor ( save for the lower hull ) and the gun that will pretty much **** up everything that dare to stand before the might of German , hail the 15cm L/ 68!!!

Or that is what we thought .

Knowing the Dev and what they did with the Ger's tanks ( nerf i suppose ) , WG forbids us to have a good German 's tank , a tank that can truly scare the crap out of your foes , a tank that make you shout '' Proud to be a German 's driver '' .

Dev gonna nerf the tank and i'm sure of it , so what kind of nerf bat they will hit us ? These are the posibilities that present danger to the StugE :

1/ Armor : ah nevermind about that , E-100 don't have much protection to begin with anyway .

2/ Gun , now we're talking , the 15 L/68 is the reason why we're anxiously waiting , this gun 's barrel is longer than the BL10 , some say it is even longer than the JT's 128 ,  , here is the gun 's stat that i think it will be

Accuracy : 0.35- 0.38 on term with BL10
Penetration : 300
Rof : 3 shell / min , reload time around 18 secs

Obviously they will try to screw adjust the gun .
+ Accuracy : lower the accuracy . keeping the penetration value and Rof . They can't argue / deny about the gun punching power so to keep thing balance , acc will be nerfed , on the paper , it will tun StugE into an Medium to close range TD while the JT reign as super sniper , sound good ? Except for the fact that you will have to stand still to aim , for a turretless tank with a squishy lower hull , this can be very .....annoying , shoot a round , missed and recieve ton of shell .

+Penetration value :''No no no , Russian must have the best gun , beside , you have armor.'' Another reason WG can pull out to keep the BL10 'a reputation , i have no objection if the 15cm have penetration about 280 , but if it is 276 , i don't know that the dev is thinking ... the gun is longer than the BL10 ,  why the value must be smaller than the BL10 ? Beside , the BL10 have the best penetration 's value and rof for a Titan 's class gun , bah , russian 's bias strike again lol

+Rof : it take 20 secs to load a shell i presume , no objection about this , as long as the StugE can seriously hurt any tank ( but how the hell the crew in a bigger casemate reload slower than the crews in a tiny casemate ) .

3 / Topic that ranting about the uberness of jPZE-100 :
Noobs who want an easy kill and never have to think how to flank a TD , they can't accept the fact that it is about time they have to be serious when fighting against a super heavy TD , thus they rant , hopefully the dev will listen to their reason and nerf the poor thing ( they did that with the E-100 's lower hull).

Bring on the neg rep , cus the truth hurt when you know it !

All I see in the OP's post is wild, baseless assumptions and tin-foil hat paranoia. Just as everyone was absolutely 'convinced' the E-series would be absolute crap and they turned out ok, everyone was 'certain' the french tanks would turn out to be worthless and look at how many 'OMG nerf now!' whine posts there are, people knew 'for sure' that the T110E5 would be a useless and soft ammosponge, etc etc.

Wait and see what something is actually like before you whine that something is underpowered and needs a buff.

This is not a whine or anything like that .
Because everyone keep thinking that the tank will be good ( or very good in some cases ) , so i just remind them that they have to be prepared , i don't want to see the E-100 ' s tragedy again , thought it good till an arrow hit the knee .
So you don't think the dev will nerf the tank a bit ?

I expect they will balance it so that it's a challenge to play but in line with the other vehicles of the same type at the same tier, performance-wise. Like EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE GAME. If you're expecting an overpowered deathmachine of noobpowning +6, ofcourse you're going to be disappointed.

So you won't get good frontal protection on the lower glacis plate. Big deal, still better than the JT's paper hull.

And yeah, it's gonna have the exact same firerate as the Obj 704 to keep balance. Choose a tank with greater aimtime and better armor but worse profile and speed, or choose the stealthy quick little bastard with longer aimtime, same damage/pen and casino armor (by that, I mean the armor is pure randomness. I pen there with my Pershing sometimes, but sometimes I bounce with an IS-8)

3. This is player stupidity and it's impossible to cure. We'd have to hope for the best. :V

Doubt the Pen will be that high, probably around the same as the BL10 on the 704, because the bigger the shell the less pen you have, and the higher damage you get. Russia was known for their Rounds on that type of gun though so dont be yelling at them for accuracy.

The Devs have already said it will have better accuracy than the BL10 as Germans had superior optics. I expect it to have 300+ AP penetraition as power creep will push it over the exisintg TDs. Also keep in mind German's AT cannons (Pak) were high velocity. I also expect it to have a higer alpha than the current T9 TDs but a slower reload.

Of course... no one really knows for sure what will happen. When I asked the Devs about the 15cm l68 they told me it was too soon to confirm anything. So as Lert said let's all just wait for some hard proof before we jump off the ledge. Anything could change from now until that patch goes live, and it will be a long time before it is ready to launch.

Ahhh, it makes me remember all pre test server whining about uber nerfed T110.

But then, the E-50 became the prime ramming tank in WoT, the E-75 became the toughest tier 9 tank to crack and the E-100's pen wasn't so bad. And they all had 1200 HP engines.

I really don't recall anyone whining about the E-series being weak before WG introduces them
In fact , everybody was very happy about it .
The E-series came out just fine , but months passed and i see more topics raging about the E-100 , used to lol at them but now i have accepted the truth .
Now there is rumour that E75 gonna have frontal transmission lol .
Seem someone still misunderstood me , i already accept any kind of adjustment the dev will give to the StugE and i'll try to cope with it .
You must anticipate the bad thing before hoping for the good thing .

Guy with 65% win rates in nearly all German heavies & TDs is whining about them being terribad nerfed?
Now, looking at your stats you're obviously a very good player.
But do stop to consider that those winrates might have something to do with the strengths of the German tanks namely excellent frontal armor & high accuracy, fast aiming guns with decent penetration.

Stug E100 looks magnificent. Its only frontal weakness is that lower glacis & E100 lower glacis is really not that easy a target for Russian guns.
Try running an ISU152 for a few hundred battles, then you'll understand what 'frontal weakness' truly means.

Death187 - I highly doubt that the developers want to push over 300 penetration, I don't think anything higher than 285 or 290 is viable. BL-10 is seriously pushing it, and its because the original tank (ISU-152) had paper armor and turned like a turd. I think something around 285 is what we should be expecting. And I think E-100 will be a more close range fighter than JT, so probably it will have lower accuracy and less shell velocity.

Of course, this all goes out the window if they decide to make it a tier 10 TD, anything could happen as we have no precedents for anything other than tier 10 heavies.

Nerf or Not nerf , that is what the dev decide ,  see the T54 for yourself .
I don't give a **** abouut Russian's bias as i still crush the ussr's tank with my german's tank .
And the stat of the gun is the best option , but you see , they will adjust it for the sake of balance .
As long as the gun is workable unlike the short 15cm , i'm ok with that .

This tank will be the next T95 for me.
