Ammorack?

I searched the forum for an answer and could not find it so here is my question. When you blow up a tank by destroying it's ammo rack, do you get the full experience factor for the damage caused to the tank or is the portion of the tank hp lost to the explosion wasted into thin air?
I ask that because I noticed that I gain less exp in my arty game where I have killed a tank in one shot. I made sure the tank were the same level before asking.

Rewards are really distributed like this:
Small bonus for detecting
Large bonus for damaging
Small bonus for killing
So you would get the bonus from the damage you do, plus the bonus from the kill.
Since you caused the ammo rack to explode, that damage delivered is your damage, and you get the reward.
So yah!

Such an awesome feeling when you entirely own a tank in one shot or tank a large percentage off a tier IX or X in a VI tank. Absolutely love those ammo racking shots in an arty.
But I am assuming that since you caused its death by ammoracking it, you get those damage points.
(It is annoying though when you torch a tank and it is nearly dead/still burning and someone pops that tank for the kill)

To echo previous comments - you get credit for every point of damage you caused. How you caused that point of damage - penetrating hit, ramming, fire, ammo rack - doesn't matter. Every point of damage equals +X experience and +Y credits depending on the tank (and the target, in case of experience - but not credits).
So if you can rack a 100% IS-7 with a Tier 8, you'll be getting lots and lots of XP for that battle. For example.

Oh and now ammo racks come with kill icons! There's an ammo symbol that flashes as the tank goes up in flames. Right now I'm interpreting that as ammo rack.

Mildly irritating when someone else gets a kill like that, but I wouldn't hesitate to take such a shot. I know I've burned down to just a few hp and lived to do some more damage. I won a game once with 1 hp and every module except my gun damaged. Took me about 2 minutes to climb a little hill and get the last shot into their last tank.

BIG fan of the new ammo rack indicator (ARI?)! It's a nice bit of feedback that you otherwise wouldn't get when firing on a tank that suddenly goes "KA-freaking-BOOM". And, if I happen to be paying attention, I might actually improve my game by remembering where to shoot a vehicle of that type again. (Or not.)

Yes, one of my highest exp battles involved a derp, 6 shots and an ammo racked Panther II
