My 704 was the first tank I got back after release. After the need for tier 10s was made obvious in my clan when clan wars released I sold it to get a IS-7. I have never bought it back since, and recently I've thought about it. I never played it with the frenchies around or the high tier scout tanks. So I was just wondering if it was still a viable option to have in the garage.

Its still a tank to be careful around, but due to power creep, its not as scary as it use to be.  Sure the BL10 hits hard but bounces and no damage crits? I've seen it happen all the time.  Hell I've bounced a BL10 in my type a few times but I guess its that "normalizaion thingy".

I'd take it over the T95 for sure. T95 is scarry, but it can be avoided simply because it's so slow. It's hard to get away from a 704 if it wants to kill you. It's also much easier to flank and cricle a T95 to death than a 704.

of course if you are running a tier 9 or 10 with top guns..  not much need to flank it since everything but the IS-7 can out-snipe it and pen it from front (IS-7 can pen it from front but it's accuracy is just as bad)

I guess I'll give it a shot. It's only 3.6m credits lol. Got plenty of room in the garage now(Thank you WG).

Horror, thy name is BL-10.

So yeah, 704 is still a viable option.

Yeah, 704 will still be my first love. 54 was my mistress, but she's gotten fat and lazy with all the nerf donuts WG has served up. Time to go back home.

Though I think I've found another mistress in the M103, I've fallen in love with that tank over the last couple of weeks.

too bad I sold it to buy E-75. Had a lot of frustrating time with this tank, even though my stats with it is not half bad(64% win rate, 3100+ dmg/battle)

I think I'll never touch the BL-10 again.

I love my 704 even though I'm not that great in it. The BL-10 is as unreliable as ever but when it does hit 1/2 their tank is gone ...if not more :)

No TD is generally viable.  Why use a TD when you can use arty or a heavy tank.  TDs are cute pub tanks for people who are campers by nature.

in most cases tds are not viable in clan wars. Not very often that you see one, and when you do its typically on a specialized map

In all the games I've played in my 704 i've been down Tank alley twice, shes just not a front line brawler.

I have the ISU-152, and my question of course is whether or not I really need the better tank to go along with the same gun.

Personally, I'm thinking it would be much easier to exceed my matchmaker weight with the BL-10 on the ISU than the extra damage I would need to do with the 704 to be just as valuable to the team.

Says the guy with no TD's, were not all campers "by nature", some like me, drive TD's, expecialy the 704, to kill Tier X tanks.

I have almost 3 times the capture points you do in less battles. I guess I do most of my camping at the enemy flag.
