Awesome mod! Love the AC series :>

Quick question: what reticle mod are you using in the AC4 video?
Also, the gunfire in both videos sounds a bit different than the default in-game gunfire sounds as of 7.5. Is that a mod? Or were the videos from a older versions of the game?

I love the music mod! Only problem is, it leaves me stuck on the login and garage screens, as I am enjoying the music too much to leave! :Smile_veryhappy:

Don't understand how to put the three parts of the music together. They keep wanting to over-write each other.

*EDIT*
Ok. So it automatically pulls from all three. :P Sorry. I'm not good with software.

Whenever I download music pack 3, all I get is an empty .rar.

Worse, it appears no music can play with only 2/3rds installed.

Sorry for the late responses guys, but somehow I never realized this thread had a second page...

I'm using NoblePlatoon's methods. For a walkthrough on how to make your own pack, see his thread that I linked in the first post.

In the AC4 video I believe my reticule was Adiya's historical sight mod. As for the sounds, the engine and track noises are from NoblePlatoon's own packs, and the gunfire is from an unnamed Russian sound mod that can be found here: http://forum.worldof...-gun-sound-mod/

From what I can tell, all three links should still be working fine since I reupped them last month. I was planning on making a few changes to all of the packs soon, so the links will be refreshed again at that point. I'll add a note to the original post when I do that.

I've noticed that the first briefing from Ace Combat has bad quality. It has a strange reverb to it.

I've corrected that in the current version I have, I just haven't uploaded it yet. I should be doing that relatively soon.

I've run into a small snag trying to download the Music mod, Mediafire says that part 2 is considered part of a larger archive and won't allow me to download it.

Otherwise thanks for the music mod, good to see an Ace Combat music pack this large.

Just got back last night from being out of town, will check ASAP.

EDIT: Ah, okay I found the issue. Mediafire now has a policy of not allowing users to download "special archives" or, "ZIP or RAR files that are encrypted, password protected, or split into pieces," more than ten times per week on a free account. It seems that the week you guys attempted to download the files I had hit my limit. I've been needing some of the features of the basic pay account for a while, so I'll upgrade my status there- but there is a chance that this limit could be reached again. If that happens, keep trying! You'll get through eventually. I would consider switching sites, but the unfortunate fact is that there really isn't any host better out there that I am aware of.

So, the tl:dr is if you get an error when downloading, keep trying! Additionally, be sure you have all of the parts before trying to open a multipart archive.

Double posting to add that since I upgraded my account, I should now be able to reupload the music pack as a single .zip for ease of installation, and through doing so bypass the limit on split files entirely. I'm currently building a new version of the pack for this purpose, and should have it uploaded within the next hour.

He appears to have removed the file, so I just uploaded my own and linked it in the OP.

Favorite.
Mod.
Ever.
I'm a huge Ace Combat fanatic (5 being my favorite... so much so, my gamertag for XBL is razgriz12991 lol).
I like how the recordings add more of that "radio transmission" feel to things, very nice... music pack was a definite thing i needed to add...
Now I can grind to my next tier in style >:3

I just finished working on another voice pack yesterday, compiling Zero and adding to 5 are now next on my to-do list. (As an aside, I actually had a Zero pack put together a few months ago, but never published it because I didn't like the sound quality).

I want to see that music list you said you were gonna get around to. I can figure out the songs from 4,5, Zero, and a little bit of 6. What I'm really interested in are the track I don't know from X and Assault Horizon and especially those Zero demo tracks.

I used to have a track listing in the OP, but I accidentally deleted it during an update and haven't yet had the opportunity to put it back together. I'll do that eventually, but I can say that the Zero demo tracks are variations of Glacial Skies (in the video), Zero, and Contact.
