"Nice gold round noob arty" :arta:

I once 1 hit afull health IS-7 in my Su-14 and he went on to rage about what a noob I am for using gold rounds in a pub match. I guess there are two things he doesn't know about tanks even at tier 10 though. For one, Artiellery gold rounds don't increase damage! They only increase splash radius.(at least not on the russian line anyway, idk about others.) Secondly, there is this part of your tank called an ammo rack, and bad things happen when a 203mm shell connects with it

I unfortunately i can't remeber the circumstances of the few times i've been called a hacker, but this whining was probably one of my favorite moments of the course all the games I played, so I thought i'd share the laughter

One funny hack whining I've heard yesterday from a guy in a M10. I was on my Churchill, hit him in Malinovka Assault mode. He was on the verge of the top cliff, defending. Totally exposed, shot and killed him easily. Right after he says: "nice radio hack, bro."  I'm unsure about what that's supposed to mean, but sure was funny. :Smile_veryhappy:

A T29 accused me of using gold rounds because I was repeatedly penetrating his hull with my Tiger's long 88. I'm sure you guys can figure out the real reason his hull was getting swiss cheesed.

Oh, and according to at least one guy I oneshotted with my T82, using derpguns makes me a n00b.

Earlier today I was on Himmels in encounter mode in my T34. I was down to a few hundred hp and persuing a S-51.

He was hiding behind the rail station and had the long gun. I peeked and backed up as he sent a shell over me that hit the building behind me and I in turn 1 shot him.

Next thing you know he starts crying hax and for all to report me.

2 players were riding my tank explained that he missed and hit the building behind me. Not wanting to hear it he starts spamming "reported". That in turn started our whole team to spam "reported".

It reminded me of Finding Nemos "mine".

I recieved a warning for a post that maybe possible malware. I respect that you removed the post, however I wanted you to know that the possibility of hacks for this game are out there and this way you maybe able to prevent the use of these hacks. I knew of no other way of doing so with out getting results. if I sent an email or service tag I am not garenteed to get results. Sorry it had to be this way but I felt that I had no choice as I did not know where else to send the info where it will be checked out.

What people do not realize is that there ARE hacks for this game, WG just refuses to admit it.

Today was in Ensk, enemy KV-5 was hiding 100% behind a building at C5 with my tank at B5 opposite side of the building from him, yet he continued to shoot me through the solid building bouncing a few shots, as if the building was not even there. I moved back and it continued. He got the kill and I sat there watching him from a teammate tank as he shot over and over again through several buildings hitting my team tanks in the area.

I did report this one with a ticket and attached the replay.

i had a couple "gold rounds" hax comments against me:

pre 7.5 a t30 american TD vs my KV-2 i shot him, 6 times with my 152mm derp, each hit deals about.. 6-9% damage to him, not a lot of damage considering that he had his thick turret exposed and that he could easily stomp me with one single shot by merely driving into me while had to do a grueling 20 or more seconds reload.

suddenly i start getting "wtfhax gold rounds" messages from him.. and he started nagging how "players that use gold rounds should be banned" blah, blah, and blah..

the only thing that ocurred me at that moment is that id absolutely would agree to give him my replay so he could see that i wasnt using gold rounds, or any sort of evil magic trick, of course, i got a cascade of whines and insults from him, to the point that when the match was over (our win) he even went as far to whisper me in garage to complain further more.

at this point i wonder how the hell did he even managed to grind up to a t30 without being nagged for his lack of skill..

one f the things i clearly remember was:

"i see a hole on my turret! i recognize that type of hole you used a gold round"

hmm, as far as i can tell, theres no way to recognize a gold round hole form a standard hole, or the sound that they make when doing a penetration

"you should get banned"

gold rounds are entirely legal, why should i, if i am to use a legitimate item in the game?

"players that use gold rounds should be exposed"

gold rounds .. use gold as funds, and a kv-2 gold round aint that cheap to be tossing around in pub matches for starters, i dont like shooting money to people playing internet tanks, save em for TC's

"how could you pen me?"

a bit of logic.. a gold round on a KV-2 has about 198mm pen with a base damage over 500 - 800, and your hole is on the turret, and that thing has over 270mm armor thickness, it would have bounced off by all means, and if by any magic chance did truly managed to pen you, how did i do only 6-8% damage each shot? unless you had HP over 5000 or so, whos the hacker then?

the last message i got form him was that "i was about to be reported for unfair play, that i should ready myself for a ban and that gold round users are all noobs", and proceeded to block me afterwards

...

since i got nothing good to say for this person's logic..

now i post a cat

thats good to know actually, but i sincerely doubt he would pay that much attention on details to figure out, it indeed takes some digesting to visually recognize a gold shell being fired, thanks for sharing!

I own a Chaffee. If someone accused me of that by killing a T32, I'd say, "Not gold round but I have this hack that identifies stupid heavy tank players like you, and then I go after your ass with my 2000 DPM gun. GL HF!"

My question is when and if WOT will finally admit that they have been hacked?

Most the Forum "hacker complaints should put on tin hats" are probably hackers.   It is happening none the less.    I don't know if it's data stream intercept or what, but when an M41 with the same player name hits me THREE TIMES IN 15 SECONDS (for the math challenged thats about 12 rounds a minute) with a vehicle that is "officially" rated at fire three to three and a half a MINUTE max, tells me someone has found a way around WOT's vaunted "server side cannot be hacked" B.S.

I am sure peeps at NSA laugh their asses off at that garbage. If the chinese can hack the DOD, and we can hack the Iranian nuke computers do you REALLY think no one can hack you????  Gimmee a break.

Dudes, it's becoming hard to justify the waste of time on the "play for  free" end of this... much less handing off cash for a Gold account.  Do you really expect me to PAY to have some sleazebag CHEAT blowing my ass away all the time when I am following the stock rules and they are hacking???

Get a grip Tovarisch, Bal'shoi spaseba!!
