I use the M4 Sherman and the M4A3E8 to make money, both are decent money makers pulling in a range of 5-15k a battle depending on the outcome and how well you preformed during it.

i suggest getting a t-34 but its tier 5 or the t46 (russian light) which is tier 3, but a very good tank and brings in a good #of creds per match

SU-26 is pretty good if you like arty. T-28 if you don't, as I see you already have that.
and you need 400K credits fast? Why?
Pretty much any tank can make money at tier 4.

Well, if you're going for a tier 10 tank (beware this will take a few months...) you will need a very good tier 5-6 moneymaker, as most things over tier 6 lose money every match.

get a premium account and play. It will only cost a couple of dollars and it will save you a lot of time.

Wow, your top tank is a Lee and you can't make money?
I'm sorry, bro. Nothing we can tell you is going to solve your problem.
<Edit> I've looked at your profile and at your stats, and, although I loathe to do this, I'm still going to:
Learn to play.
Your hit ratio is 21%. That means that out of every 5 shots that you fire, 1 hits its target. That's outrageously low, at that tier you should have ~50% hit ratio, preferably more. Your hit ratio in the M3 Lee is 26%, mine is 64%. Your T-28 has 27% hit ratio. My T-28 has 76%. And me? I'm barely above average in my stats. Barely.
Your average kills per battle is .22 - it takes you over 4 battles to get a single kill. This is a direct result of your atrocious hit ratio.
Your average damage per battle is 70.4 points. This means that on average, in tier 4 tanks, you do barely over half a tier 1's hitpoints in damage.
Credit income is a direct result of how much damage you do. Aim better. Hit targets more. Get your hit ratio up by atleast a factor 2.5. If you can't make tons of cash in a tier 4 (like the Lee and the T-28) the problem isn't the tank.
Any moneymaking tank that has been named in this threat is not going to make you credits. In fact, they're going to cost you money to run, because of ammo and repair cost, and because you don't do nearly enough damage at tier 4 to be considered 'average' at tier 1.

On the Russian line the KV-1 and KV-2 does wonderfully except when you are placed vs Tier VIII-IX in the KV-2.

Get multiple credit grinders
@ T3 :
M2 med tank does pretty good with the mini 75 howitzer makes a decent amount
Marder 3 I hear it's good for fun and money
@ T4:
T-28 if you play carefully and flank and deal lots of dmg you make plenty
M3 LEE : yes this thing makes money too good gun always aim for the flank
@t5
M4 sherman: the thing pays itself off once you get the 105 mm in about 40 good games (20k profits assuming all shots hit thier mark)
Pz 4 also a great money maker

You guys can minusvote me all you want. It's not going to change the fact that unless this guy starts hitting his targets and doing damage, he's never going to earn large amounts of credits, no matter what he drives. Telling him "oh this tank makes a lot of credits" "No, get THIS tank and you'll be rich" means nothing, and almost all of the tanks mentioned are more expensive to run than T-28 and M3 Lee are.

your right i need too learn too hit my targets but in my defense i have ONLY been playing a little over a month thus im still learning the game but your right my stats do suck and so does my hit ratio and i am trying too learn how too lead tanks and what not

There is no need to be on the defensive. I didn't say you suck. I said your stats suck. Then I proceeded to point out what you need to work on, what you need to improve, instead of worrying about which tanks make money or not. How much money a tank makes is for the most part dependant on the skills of the player driving it.
I've not seen you play, I don't know your play style. Your survival ratio suggests you're not one of those suicidal rush-out-and-die people, so that's good. Some hints I can give you? Play a bit more patient. Time your shots better. Wait for your reticle to zoom in completely, before firing. Learn the standard weak spots (side of the hull and turret, rear, lower glacis) and aim for those.
