But the map in game is really bad...or rather....."Hell"; whoever pushing pass across the other half loses; unless one side is under gun on the road side.
If the map is more like the real Prokhorovka it would be better.

This is my FAVORITE map. The best thing i think is when about 5 enemy's charge at the beginning and your team cuts them all down with few loses. then your team goes up the side and attacks the remaining tanks there, then your team advances up the middle.
The best strategy is to let 7 tanks camp behind cover in the front while some allies go around. then while they are busy fighting of the flanking attack the remaining guys go up the middle and finish it.

I like the one with the fully destructable stone city in the middle. I also love the one with the broken bridge across the HUGE ravine

Neither side achieved their objective. The Germans were expecting very light resistance as they launched their attack, a few anti-tank guns maybe. The shock of meeting Soviet tank armies in huge numbers stalled the offensive and although inflicting huge casualties on the Soviets, the Red Army held the line until Hitler ordered his armies to break off the attack.
The Soviets turned it into a massive propaganda victory. There's no doubt that stopping the Germans dead in their tracks here was a major turning point in the war, however propaganda since then has seriously messed up the statistics and public knowledge of the battle.

German objective was to eliminate Kursk salient and advance toward Moscow. Soviet objective was to steam off German thrust through elaborate system of deep defenses, including anti-tank trenches, mine fields and dummy tanks. In term of preparation this was best planned Soviet operation until the date, unlike German who rushed into the battle, without proper intelligence and against advice of their high command. After Kursk strategic initiative went to Red Army and was never regained by Germany. In this sense the battle was Russian victory.
Strategic Victory..
Tactically, on the Field, they got their AZZes handed to them.
There is quite a bit of speculation from some historians and Von Mainsteins memoriors that the southern area defense was broken and that the germans could have taken the southern objectives.. but, with the norths failure probably would have ruined it all anyways.

SPGs and TDs will own this map. Mostly SPGs, what is there to hide behind from SPG fire?
