Skirmishes are 10:30 Eastern time.  Challenges are at 9:00 Eastern time.

Other events are around the same times.  Although some weekend events are earlier.

Change skirmish times so it does not conflict with the league or other tournaments that may be happening on the same day.

Supporting this as well. At the moment teams are forced to either choose between their respective leagues or the weekly skirmishes.

Personally, I actually see that as a feature: I don't think they want the exact same teams/players involved in every single portion of the game.
It would be nice for the players (and probably increase competition), but really, the current setup also allows more players to be involved in the tournament scene and more people overall to have chances to win gold.

How about a Gift tank or Freemium Skirmish?

 

Wargaming has given us four Gift Tanks, Tetrarch, LTP, T1E6, T7 Car, with another coming up the Mk VIc.  With the exception of the LTP they are all tier II.  So say each team gets 15 points.  That would be 7 players.  Another restriction is each team can have only one tier III.  Also each team may bring a max three of a kind, aka only three Tets per team.  Do it on an open filed map, like Steppes or Malinovka.

 

If your worried about there not being a big enough pool because so many have sold their Freemiums then you could expand the pool to include other tier II & III premiums that have been gift tanks at one time or another.  Such as the M3 Light, Pz38H735(f), T-127, T2 Light, Locust.

Any chance of having an early and a late skirmish like the weekend warfare? Would get a bit more interest I think as many can't do the later timezone due to sleep or clan wars etc.

More even tier like IV, V, VI you get into higher tiers with lower tiers lower don't have a chance of success in game play I like all the maps that's something that the Gods to be make that choice.

7v7 All TOG's or with 1 tier 3 light on each team for scouting (and the chihuahua fun factor).

Malinovka or Karelia
Intentional Drawing = DQ

Best out of 3 Format

I suggest that when creating a skirmish that for any team size under 10 please choose only encounter maps.

 

The reason is I find standard maps with few players lends itself to camping by most teams and takes the fun out of the event.  However Encounter mode means one cap and forces the battle to centralize around a location neither teams spawns at.  Which tends to force an engagement at some point.

 

Although it would be interesting to use assault maps too if you could allow the attacking team a tier/player advantage!

Bring back the 3v3's!!!! and some mid to lower tier events again! They were much more fun than tier 7 and up and less experienced players who haven't gotten up to those tiers can compete too!

10v10 all teir 6 and allowed 3 heavies 3 meduims 2 tds and 2 arty . on the karelia map

I appreciate the work that's gone into this new format. The biggest issue I see with the Group Stage portion of the skirmishes so far is that it takes a pretty significant time investment per evening vs the old skirmish format. I used to like when skirmishes lasted between 30 to 60 minutes per night. If the bracket sizes were cut in half or much smaller the current format might be more appealing but as it stands these take about 2.5 hours per evening with all the 5 minute breaks in between the 10 minute battles feels pretty lengthy.

Change it to 1 minute between battles and it may be tolerable.

I dont think we will be doing anymore of these, this takes too much time.
