Intentional Drawing is a strategy. When we go up against a team composed of SMIP or players from top clans WHY would you push against them? ANY one would know you fight on your strength not the enemy's strength. To me its a sign of respect that when we see a very good group of players, even if they are short one player, we proceed with caution. Running in there with guns blazing is a sure way to a quick lost. As i see it with some of these good players, its dam if you do and dam if you don't. IF you camp they call u names, if you go in hard you are noobs.....
lets keep it civil and play the game....
PS - IF WOT would like to keep Skirmishes on a more or less even footing. why not rank the teams? Have different groups,for example, teams made up of top clan members to groups made up of noobs. Those in the Top group would get bigger payouts to those in the noob group. This would then be an incentive for teams to improve and move up the payout ladder.
Please enlighten us less skilled campers as to how intentional drawing is a strategy or shows a sign of respect to good players. If you are afraid to leave your cap because you know the other team is better than your own and you play for a draw you should be penalized. Heavily penalized if you do it more than one or two times. Showing respect to a much better team would be meeting them on the battlefield and actually playing the game. Not hiding in your base and making them come to dig you out of a hard camp. Making a good team dig your crap team out of a hard camp is showing disrespect more than showing any respect.
Here is my personal opinion on how points should be awarded for these things:
Win = 3 points
Loss = 1 point
Draw = 0 points
Draw more than once in a single group stage and you are DQ'd from the skirmish.
Draw more than once in the final group stage and you are DQ'd from the skirmish and forfeit any gold that your team would have got if it placed in the top 50%.
Draw intentionally in the playoffs and you forfeit both the gold from the playoffs and the gold from group stages.
If a team gets DQ'd from 2 skirmishes in a row and the captain of the team is given a vacation from the skirmishes for 1 week.
If the same captain gets DQ'd again for drawing they get a 30 day vacation from skirmishes.
Doing this would cut the number of draws to 0 almost instantly for any team that is serious about the skirmishes and the gold earned in them. WarGaming feel free to adopt this point scheme at any time. I dont even need to be given credit for said changes
