The World of Tanks Classic tiebreaker round will be played on Siegfried Line
Further Explanation
Due to an unexpected amount of draws in both divisions and for the wild card there will be two weeks of tiebreaker rounds prior to the playoffs. This week will be the first set of rounds in which those tied for division lead will play (note that some divisions have more than 2 teams tied, which may result in a round next week as well). Next week those tied for the wild card slots will play a tiebreaker round and then the wild cards and division leads will enter into the playoffs.
If you believe there to be a discrepancy in the current listings (or have other concerns) please feel free to email us at tournaments@worldoftanks.com prior to Saturday!

I suspect that it is Dragon Ridge to even out the matches (ie no clan wars have been played on these yet).
As an Oceania clan we do not get as much experience with CWs and the regular rota of maps. so this map will make it a bit more equal than optherwise.... I hope

It says: Winners will be determined as the first to 3 victories.
Just how will that work - play the same team over and over til one hits 3?

Based on the replays of the Absolute power tournament, yes play the same team until someone has 3 wins. Just like playoffs in other sports, it's sort of like a best of 5 series, except that draws don't count for either side, so you could conceivably play more than 5 matches to get someone to 3 wins.

Is there a list of teams that definitely made it into the playoffs or did not make it into the playoffs yet? Or do we have to wait for the tiebreakers to end for the list?

Congratulations to Division 17 top teams 17th Battalion and Cazadores. They both played very well and acted respectful during our matches.

yes, you have to wait. but if a team wins a division or has 22 points or higher, its definitely in the playoffs. there are 4-5 additional spaces for 21-point teams that will be determined by tiebreakers i assume.

speaking of tiebreakers, i dont see how these can be resolved in 2 matches over 2 weeks. if there's three teams tied for lead, thats two weeks fights. plus there is three 21-point teams tied for lead in one division, so they need to do tiebreakers for lead, then the losing teams need to join the fight for the 4-5 open slots. also dont understand how you will resolve slots for 4-5 teams out of 17 21-point teams in one match.

The map for the first round of tiebreakers is Dragon Ridge

Does this mean that only the division championships will be played on Dragon Ridge, or will all tie-breaking games be played on this map?

I honestly want to know why they chose a map that causes so many people the red screen glitch.....Was a very stupid choice in my opinion.

Yeah, I can't play on this map.
Which is a shame, and one that disappoints me given as how WG are aware of how bad the map is and that there are a fair few people having issues with Dragons Ridge.

My read was that after tiebreakers, there will be 15 teams vying for 3 spots. I also don't see how this will all be decided in 2 weeks worth of matches. Even more befuddling is why does one team have to win 3 times, possibly requiring who knows how many battles? Best of 3 matches would make far more sense, but even then, in the regular season we only played each team once. Why should tiebreakers be more than one match, except in case of a draw?

Due to player feedback (and the technical issues many are having with the map) we are changing the map for this week's tiebreakers to Siegfried Line.

any idea yet how you are dealing with the 17 21-point teams contending for the last 4-5 wildcard slots?

There will be another tiebreaker round next weekend as well for those, and for those with more than 2 teams tied for 1st place in their division (fortunately the two did not overlap).
