Gun Rammer

When you buy the gun rammer to increase fire rate, does it only apply to the gun you have mounted at the time or does it apply to any gun you put on that particular tank? In other words, if I buy the rammer for my ISU with the T6 152mm on it, when I get the T10 152mm researched with it work for that or will I have to buy another gun rammer?

And for 10 gold can be de-mounted and placed on another tank. Good for when you upgrade and sell tanks! 10% bonus to reload is great on Big Gun. It is a MUST have with arty!

Or any gun for that matter, if you can afford one.
My Jagdpanther fires like a machinegun with its 88/71 with the spare rammer I happen to have slapped onto it.

Rammers and vents are my most widely used equipment slots. The only tanks that don't run rammers in my garage is anything with an auto-loader (damned M5) and the churchill, cause it fires too fast for its own good, lol.

Unfortunately, smaller rounds does not need rammer. No way to improve that apart from giving the crews some fan and having them learn BiA...

I have heard of rammers on the t-34 with the quick fire 57mm. Would result in reload quicker than aim. Must say, sounds tempting...

I use a rammer on every tank that can use it along with either GLD or VS with the third item being dependant on the tank.

It's a % reduction not a flat reduction in rof. The faster the gun shoots the less the rammer does for you. I don't know that some of these guns people put them on make it worth it. If the gun already shoots faster than it can re-aim it's a waste imo.

You need to keep in mind that there are various sizes of rammers that can't be transferred from medium caliber guns to large caliber guns or artillery. Here is a break down of rammers:

I like rammer on ALL my slow reload tanks. Like earlier poster said - is a MUST for arty.
Rammer, optics, vents most tanks.
Rammer, camo, and something else for arty.
Vision gets me more than anything. I play lot of sniper type tanks - Lowe, PzIV, etc. Coated optics or binocs are first priority for me. Then vents, then rammer.

I agree. With 100% crew, my Churchill already shoots faster than the aiming circle closes. I had a rammer on my T-34/57, and found I was missing a fair number of shots because of this. Useful at point blank range I guess, but I don't like getting that close.

Unlike some people here, I find a rammer on a small gun to be useful. When sniping, it may seem useless to reload faster than you aim, and it is. But you cannot always snipe; sometimes you are forced into close combat whether you like it or not. In those situations, rammers are a godsend. 1875 DPM is good, but 2083 DPM is better when you are close enough that aim matters a bit less.

Camo, Rammer, Vents, Optics/Binocs (I knew a guy who drove his Maus with a Camo net for Months before he figured out.. its hard to hide a metal barn! He changed up for Rammer/Vents/Coated Optics.. Every Class has different Values and Needs.
A camo net alone doesn't do too much, but 100% camo skill on the crew is useful to any heavy. Camo skill and vision are two sides of the same coin. If your heavy has camo skill, then you will see other heavies before they see you. A heavy with 100% camo skill is about the same "size" visually as a medium without any camo skill... with enhanced vision from binoculars a 100% camo skill heavy with binoculars will even see most medium tanks before it is seen. The myth that camo is useless on heavies really isn't true, but to be truly useful you need both camo skill and increased vision.
