i need too farm 450k credits and i have 47k atm too get my tier 5 tank and i was wondering if arty or td is better for farming that b/c i have an m3 lee and doing ok getting about 5-10k per battle depending on win or lose and damage done. I was wondering if there was a faster way too make credits besides gold tanks and premium account?

Not that I know of... artillery isn't very good at making credits, the ammo is expensive... TDs, I don't know, I don't use them.

Invest a little money and get a prem tank, you will not regret it and from then the sky is the limit.

How to get credits fast the welfare way:
-Persistence, Persitence PERSISTENCE!
-Damage more enemy vehicles = more credits.
-Play tier / level 1 tanks since their are free of repairs and ammo is dirt cheap as hell.
-Sell shells, modules and other crap that you dont use. See your "Depot" and look for unused craps.

I know the Marder makes good cash....but 5-10k on average is just about as high as you are going to get below tier 5.

cant afford premium im in college got loans and shit too pay off
Get a Ultimate Game Card that is $20.00, go onto the Gift Shop pick out something and use the extra credit to get 1250 gold for $6.25 and there you go enough for another premium which would be affordable.

Lower tier TDs are a great source of income. And you'll be working on crew training at the same time.

I concur; TDs tend to make a little more money than most tanks, at least in the lower tiers. The ammo cost is reasonable, repair costs are comparable, and they tend to do more damage, at least when played like a TD. Since damage = money, their earnings are fairly decent.
However, it will still take quite a bit of grinding. It takes me a while to rack up that sort of money even with a few premium tanks in my garage, so plan on it taking at least 50 battles even if you do well. Such is the life of a non-premium player.
BTW, 5-10k isn't bad for a low-tier tank. If you can make 5k on a loss after repairs/reload, you're doing alright.

Meh. Tier 7 seems to be when the financial pain truly begins.

In college and don't know "to" from "too"? Sure.
Have you seen the standards in colleges these days? Most of the teachers aren't even qualified.
But enough of that, this is a newb who is asking for help, and for whatever reason, he (like me) does not have premium.

Early TD are decent credit earners, if you play them the right way. Since you have the Lee, you should already be playing a decent TD style. Early arty doesn't make too much since it takes so long to reload, and the damage that you can do is really limited. Tier 4-5 arty does fairly well, but you don't have the credits for that.
Just keep grinding between your Lee, T-28 and that marder 2 and you should be alright. I'd stay away from your T-50 for now unless you are a really good scout.

MrTabs, while proper grammar and correct spelling are important, this is a public forum, a gaming forum at that. Not an English class or job interview.
Welcome to the game kalebbakerr, and low level TDs are pretty good at making money. Some arty, like the M37 and Priest as another OP stated, also are good money makers due to low ammo and repair cost. That is the key. Get and keep a few tanks that have inexpensive repair costs and their ammo cost is low per shell while they can deal out good damage per game. If you ever see me on and want to platoon or train, just let me know.
