[TK3600]

i am taking a big risk to speak for russian, but someone have to say it sometime. so before you -1 me, give me a clear response first.
IS4 seems to be not a heavy anymore. it goes from owning the best armor in its tier to least armor in its tier(french doesn't count). it needs a buff in the frontal spike( lower than 140mm). it also need a slightly better engine, something like 850 hp. some people say it have even tougher side. it is not true because the middle of the truck is still thin as hell just like any other tank.

i am not saying it is underpowered, it is fine. but it very hard to find a good role for this tank.

BTW: devs is going to buff E100 and MAUs. so yeah, IS4 could be the least armored.

french kinda counts, it does have the worst armor in it's tier and if any tier 10 needs a buff, it's the E100....

I think the IS-4 is fine really. I like it the way it is. But of course, any buff to it will be extremely nice! :D

I myself don't play the IS4 but, IMO it is still a pain in the butt to fight, so buff it? I would have to say no on that one.  If a tank needs to be buffed its the E100 ( and no i do not play the E100 either i'm and American driver).

Historically the E100 had 200mm lower glacias, this needs to be applied ingame now.

With the T110 getting another nerf the is will be played more in CW, also the devs are never going to buff the German to what it should be, maybe a slight buff, the T110 with only RoF from 7.67 to 7.8 not 7.67 to 8.5 (in seconds), but the is 4 only needs a slight buff in frontal armor.

Buff the IS4?

They are nerfing the T110 because many people complained about it, I think the T110 is perfectly balanced the way it is.
Due to the lack of T110's side and rear armor, if anything gets behind it or on the side of it has 100% chance of penning, the IS4 on the other hand....


IS4 Buff it? One answer no simply because it has the best pen out of all the other T10's and its armor is much better than the T110.

So no buffing needing, nerfing instead.

I agree fully both tanks are fine the way they are, it's the German line they need to work on

speaking from experience on my is4, the gun is nice yes, but the armor SUCKS. its almost like playing american heavies all over again. the turret is the only spot that can actually bounce crap. i dont think it needs 230mm of armor, but maybe 180 or so across the WHOLE front (excluding lower glacais) would be helpful. this would still leave the driver hatch as a weakspot, since it has far less of an angle.

tier 6s...heck even tier 5s can pen a t110 from the side and the rear.........and its getting nerfed.......this will not go well on the na server

German armor needs a buff, they are far more underpowered that the IS4, so stop whining, Russian tanks are OP enough already

a bit buff in frontal armor to 160 or 150 will be nice, and the engine, pls make it 800, nerf the side armor maybe, cause this is the worst tier 10 tank fighting other tier 10 tanks, e100 has the alpha, but is4 really doesnt have anything that will outperform another tier 10

If they buffed german armor values to how they compared to allied armor at the time, they would become the heaviest armored and bounciest tanks in the game.  The german armor quality, even at end-war, made allied tanks look silly.
