This tank and I have had some great runs, but it really isn't utilized by a lot of people. A lot of people choose the M22 locust over it. My thought is why?

Can anyone help me out?

The T15 is more of a support tank than the heavy-battle T127 or hit and run Locust. It has ridiculous view range for its level - the same as a Leopard - and good gun depression and accuracy, but sub-par penetration. Armor is average, mobility is decent for a light tank. I don't think most people can use the massive view range to the best extent, but Chaffee owners will love it. In addition I think the low penetration turns people off, they want a battle tank, not a scout.

It's a flanker, if the T127 is like the Type 59, the Locust is the Pershing, then the T15 is the Panther. A very opportunistic tank, you often have to rely on knowing exactly where to strike and when, which is another skill many people seem to lack.

I have a t-15 and in the right matchup its a great little tank. Made it through to the enemy base and back one time detected almost half the enemy team....no I did not stop to cap.

My T15 is awesome, it has 2 weapons which it excells in using. The first is the gun, its ok on the run, better with a quick stop. The second one is raming. This little beauty is actually heavy enough to hurt badly most things it faces with a ram attack while taking little damage.

Last round I can honestly say 50% of my damage was full speed ahead, brace for impact.

The T-15 makes a better scout all in all, plus it's pretty quick, consistently hits it's top speed and has an exceptionable turn radius.  Personally it's one of my favorite scout tanks and I've chewed though M10's, PZ4's, you name it.  Including all the scouts (M22 in particular) that people quote as being so great but yet they just don't stand up to me in a dog fight :P

Has GREAT gun accuracy on the move btw, if you manually aim chances are you won't miss.  It also has good armor compared to the M22.

The T-15 is more like a mini 38nA than anything else....
It has awesome view range and stats for scouting but its gun....oh god its gun is soo bad unless you know what your doing.

I love it. Even in crazy match maker screw overs it's not to be counted out. I call it the mini t50.

I have only just started driving mine but love it so far. One further question though, what do people think is the best equipment fit out for it?

I have Ventilation and a Camo Net on mine. Binoculars or Coated Optics might be good, but expensive options if you prefer scouting.

I actually really enjoy sneaking about and scouting. I don't the first to detect suiscouting thing, I hate suiscouting. What I really love is when I'm lighting up tanks for the rest of my team to pound on, or for our arty. So I'm thinking that would be Ventilation, a Camoflague Net, and the Binoculars (they are pricey aren't they?)

Well the benefit of the binoculars is that they can be used on other tanks as well, so that makes the cost a little more reasonable

Ahh of course. I had forgotten about that. It certainly makes them worthwhile.

I run vent (better performance overall), tool box (to get back up if they take my tracks)  and springs (harder to track). One gripe is the gun which bounces off of RT sometimes, but it is fairly accurate on the move.

I used to have binocs, but I usually was never sitting still long enough to make them useful.

Springs increase track HP? I thought I might have heard that somewhere, but I wasn't sure if it was true.

Yep, springs do increase the suspension's hit-points, the official wiki shows a 30% boost http://wiki.worldoftanks.com/Equipment

I also adore my T-15, love the view and radio ranges, and the incredibly low amount of speed lost when turning which is far smaller than other light tanks in its tier, or even the next one.

Oh, I hadn't noticed that in the item description [when did they add that bit of information in-game?]. I never payed attention to them before since I thought they were useless

It's not in the item description in game for whatever reason, but it is there.

The T-15 has one of the highest win rates on the server.

I like the little T15. Something about getting shot at by half the enemy team, weaving through all the explosions and more often than not making it back to friendly lines appeals to me.

Of course I also happen to be one of the few people that likes the nA so I am a bit touched in the head.
