If I buy a camo net, can I swap it from one tank to another without cost?  Or, do I have to pay to move it from tank to tank, or do I just have to buy a camo net for every tank where I want to use one?
Thanks,
David.

camo net, binos and tool box costs nothing to transfer to another tank

Right click on the net that is on a tank - the window opens and just below the net you will see "Demount equipment" click that - it will go in to depot.
Go to next tank you want to mount it on
Click on an open inventory slot -you will see a colored check box beside the camo net (signifying that is available in depot to use) click the net and it will transfer to the new tank.

Wash
Rinse
Repeat
as often as you like.

I have two each of the Camo net, toolbox and binoculars.

This way if a set gets trapped in a match I have a second set to proceed with.

Equipment sales are fairly frequent so wait for one to come up to double up your stuff.

in the equipment sales i suggest buying something more expensive
so as to make best use of the discounts offered

Also equipment bought during a sale is like money in the bank...you sell it for what you paid for it.

Remember though that selling equipment DURING a sale will net you only half the sales price.

Am I weird for having seven nets and three binos?

I've spent ~30M credits on half-price equipment.  I think you're okay.

I played all the way through closed and open beta before realizing you can transfer those three items from tank to tank for free.

Your not weird...just informed now.

So...you have extra equipment. You can sell back the extras for credits. If you bought them on sale at half price you can sell them back for the same price...unless there is an equipment sale on... then you only get 1/2 of the sales price.

So if a tank is sold with equipment still mounted on it do you get the full equipment price added to the (half price) value of the tank being sold?  Also, what about upgraded moduels (better gun, etc) on the tank, do they get half or full price in the sale if the are left on the tank rather then swaping back the base moduels?

The truth is that I am just too lazy to keep moving equipment around. I used to go nuts trying to remember where my Camo net was or which of my TDs had the binos, so I just said, "Screw it!". Sure, I could've bought myself a Tier 8 for all that money, but I would rather be able to walk around my garage without going nuts looking for stuff than have a shiny credit sink.

I can't buy any more camo, binos and toolboxes.  Is there a limit?  They don't show in the store.

no limit. I have a camo net on a lot of my tanks. I highly reccomend waiting for eqip sales and theyre half price then buy as many as you can. You want at least 2 nocs and 2 nets to move around while your waiting for tanks to get out of battle.

So just a quick follow up on equipment sales.....Are they advertised at all, or do you just have to visit the store often and wait until you get lucky?

Buy 2 of everything during the sale if you have the credits and try them out.

If you don't like what you bought, wait till the sale is finished and sell them back to the store. Doing it this way you will get back your original purchase price.

They sometimes advertise them and sometimes surprise you with them. It's a matter of luck then yes. With 2 of each there's no problem. It may take a month or two but there will be an equipment sale sometime in the not so distant future. Just keep your eyes peeled.

There's a little box in the top right of the equipment icon that signifies whether or not it is complex equipment.
