The Reliant robin was intended as a car for handicapped and elderly people as it uses motorbike style grip controls instead of pedals.
Under UK law being three wheeled and under 450kg it is classed as a motorbike (class A) and not a car (class B). They are actually pretty cool and have a cult following.
