Depends on what they're saying.

"The T29 doesn't work for me" vs "the T29 is an absolute shite tank".

Just had one of those games where the T5E1 sprayed rounds all over the place and bounced shots mysteriously.

17 shots, 10 hits, 5 pens.

In the grand scheme of things, however, that sort of game is the fairly rare exception.

.

I have a question for you guys-

Should I train two of my crewmen in 'firefighting', or instead train them in 'Repairs' and just use the 'Manuel Fire Extinguisher' consumable instead?

Thanks

Something else that I just noticed about the T29...

it's 'Match Making' is utterly fantastic!

It seems like I am in the top 5 about 70% of my matches so far. and almost never in the bottom half.

Yep, every now and then you get those games where you keeping looking at the gun barrel to see where it's bent, but as you pointed out, go run a 122mm for a while and you come back with a new appreciation of it's reliability.

Don't rely on that.  You can just as easily get a run of matches lookiing up at multiple tier 9s, or as the only tier 7 in a game with twelve tier 8 premiums, a scout or a tier 6, and an SPG.

Good starter guide except you make one huge mistake. Get the 105 as quickly as possible. This shouldn't even be up for debate or opinion. The 105 defines this tank. The turret upgrade is minimal (you get a whopping 60m of view range...and don't forget about that extra 1mm of armor in that back, it's a lifesaver) whereas the gun upgrade is absolutely tremendous. A tier 8 will laugh at you while you bounce with the 90. But send a shell their way with the 105 and they'll think twice before exposing themselves again.

And for the love of god how do you post screenshots to this d*** forum? There's a screenshot I'd like to share with y'all but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do this...

They keep making it harder to post images.

As for the upgrade turret, not only do you get 60m of extra view range, you also get 100 extra hit points and a significant boost in the rate of fire.  Still, I always laugh when I see an enemy T29 with the 76mm and the stock turret... and cry when he's on the green team.

Guys/Gals what kind of equipment do you use?  Right now I have vents and rammer.  The problem is I'd typically go Vertical Stabilizer or EGLD the problem is the aim time really isn't bad with the 10.5 on it.  So what else is good for that slot?

I'd still go Vert Stab -- you can never aim fast enough in any tank, and on the T29, the ability to pop up, fire and get back behind terrain is really important.

This. Rammer, VStab, Vents, pretty much the way to go.

Wish i had stumble across  this thread before grinding Jumbo , so now  i will have to make due with the 76 for the first 20 battles or so till i get enough XP .Never know just may be lucky enough to hit good teams to do it with.
:) .Also i have a T26E4 with the 90mm on it is there that much difference between it and the one on the T29 ?

The 90 on the Super has 10 higher pen, the T29 fires slightly faster.
