I guess its probably the hundredth post about fixing the MM right now. I think the MM we have right now are not bad...but there are many things that devs need to work on...and they are not difficult/big changes....I have the following two suggestions...correct me if you guys think i'm wrong. I love this game and therefore i really hope to see improvements made.
1. MM should stop placing similar tanks on the same team. That means, MM shouldn't place all MTs on one team with the other team all HTs...thats not fair...after ard 5000 games, i think i fairly understand most of the maps...and know the tactics when playing certain maps....i can't deny the fact that some maps are favourable to the operation of MTs...and some are favourable for HTs...so...from time to time i can see some pretty one-sided match happening when MM distribute tanks in this way... I know that skill of players are important in this game.... but sometimes terrain and types of tanks are also important criteria in determining a game...only by making the outside conditions fair...can we maximize the effect of skills on the outcome of the game...instead of sth they cannot control...which sucks...
2. MM should balance the number of platoons on both side. It is a well known fact that...by platooning in Pubs..u can achieve a better communication and thereby increasing the chance to win.... but here comes the problem...if MM put a bunch of platooning team on one side...while the other side with none, the advantage will slightly slant towards one side....although different platoon cannot communicate between each other....but they work in better groups....and this can be a significant factor to affect the outcome of the game.
I believe that this may not be the first time ppl raise out the fact that MM needs to be changed....I am not asking devs to change the tier matching or anything...its fine IMO....but the above two issues were observed for so long that i can't help but to rant in the forum....
If anyone has similar feeling or suggestions...please discuss...if you think thats BS and you do not givea damn whether a game is fair, please go...this post is not intended to induce a fight. And if you think a capable player should have overcomed all these conditions and turn the tide of the game...i'm sorry that majority of the community is made up of average players...please also think from an average player's stand point.

Dude....... Seriously. These threads are far too repetitive. If you'd looked into the subject of the matter you'd have found that Wargaming.net has been in the process of creating another MM for some time now. However, there are other more important things that were in the works before the new MM that still need to be implemented.

I haven't played them yet, but I've watched several videos showing the new game modes and I think they look very good. I'm not sure what exactly want, you said the new ones don't cut it, but didn't really offer a better option. The new modes spice things up quite a bit, and call for more tactics and different type of gameplay, I can't wait to play them..
As for maps, they take a long time to design and implement, and then a long time to test and take out bugs. They do bring out patches rather often, and with new tanks and maps in each one, I think they do a pretty good job of keeping up to date.

This has been discussed in length. If you took the time to read and learn instead of opening your uneducated mouth you would know this:
They have many things they are working on, but its a much more difficult programming feat then adding some more content. One of the biggest reasons is that any new systems they test end up having really long wait times. Other issues also arise. Player skill, tanks without modules, stock tanks. An upgrade to the match maker is being worked on. But its not easy.
My suggestion to you, if you are really amendment about this problem, is to enroll yourself into a CIS program at your local university. As this is as much a mathmatical problem as a programming issue you will probably want to minor in mathmatices and aim for a 2nd degree there as well. After 4 or 5 years take your degree's into the field to gain a few years of experience in coding, and then apply for employment at Wargaming.

The funny part about this is at the end when you start calling him uneducated and I can't understand a damn thing you're saying.
Anyway I agree with the first part; it's not that hard to code out a new match maker, at least it shouldn't be. Maybe when they coded the game to begin with the did some nightmare hack and slash that makes the MM code hard to access, but I doubt it. All they have to do is think up of new ways to do the MM, run a few simulations or just put the new MM on the test server, and see what works. It's not rocket surgery and likely one of the least complicated parts of the whole game. All it does is sit there, see how many of tanks each category it has, then starts a game when it can fill one up with 30 tanks. It's a little more complex than that, but essentially that's all it's doing.

MM has officially ruined the gaming experience for me personally. I subscribe to this game and even invest into this game to further myself in the tiers. But I will not do it any longer. Being pitted against 7 tier 9's while in a tier 6 that is totally stripped out not occasionally 6 out of 8 bouts in a row while trying to get together some experience and currency, who the fuck is the dumbass that came up with that bullshit. You wanted to screw over the most important system in the game therefore rendering the game a steaming pile of shit, you did it guys. It doesnt matter how many tanks you introduce, how many maps you have for them to battle on. If MM cant set up teams that are evenly match with tier scales that are at least within reach of each other armor to gun penetration of top to bottom scales to each other, then you better hope that you dont loose all of your clients by the time you realize that the enjoyment factor you once is gone.

The game is doing amazingly well for being a steaming pile of poo.
A quick look reveals that it's a L2Play issue, as usual.

my son played for a month...actually put $130 into the game, but got so sick and tired of being put in with teirs that were 6 times higher than his and became such a grind he no longer chooses to play! On to Diablo or Secret world..So sad

MM doesn't pick the tanks or what tier's, players do! If more player's are playing tier 9 & 10, then that's what you'll get.
MM isn't going to get any better with the release of the 7.5 and all the new tier 10 mediums. More tier 10's means more tier 10's in play. The game to top heavy now and it's only going to get worst, adding more tier 10's is the last thing this game needs!!!
Things WOT can do to help!
- Tier bonus if the MM sees not enough tier V players, auto-kick in a tier V bonus (where tier V get a credit/exp bonus)!!
- Tier Days - where players get a bonus for playing a specific tier.
- Have the MM wait longer to group together higher tiers and lower tiers for battles.
