Thats a TD. All Turretless TD's are SPG's but not all SPG's are TD's.

Its an assualt gun like the Su75 through to Obj 704 . In this game it would be a Tier X TD

Also on a note about the term "TD" its never been used officially as a designation, its informal. What we call "TD"s are almost always under the designation "SPG" or Assault Gun as so stated above.

Again, 'TD' is not a official term, its slang. All 'TDs' are self propelled guns in technical terms.

Also, every other vehicle in the new TD line for the USSR is a TD/AT-SPG why would we get an artillery SPG at the end of a TD line?

SPG (self propelled gun) is anything that is not a tank but just a gun on tracks (or wheels sometimes). TDs are considered a type of SPG. Mobile artillery are as well.
