Lowe all the way!

edit: unless you want a big weak spot on your front. :Smile_blinky:

I'd suggest lowe.KV5 has enough frontal weak spots any tier 7 can kill it in front

Lowe: Suitable armor if you know how to angle properly, amazing gun, tons of weak spots.

KV-5: Great armor, terrible gun, huge weak spot on the front of the tank.

I have the Lowe, and have tried the KV-5 on the test server - the Lowe is the better tank.

Lowe for the gun.

KV-5 for the armour.

Up to you. Choose wisely!

Do a search. This topic has been beaten to death already several times.

I only have a Lowe and have never driven a KV-5. But I will point you to one fact that you can do with as you wish: the KV-5 has the lowest win rate of any tank in the game.

But based on your criteria, get the Lowe. The gun is one of the most accurate in the game, can pen anything in the game if you pick your spots (which is easy given how accurate it is), and has adequate armor from the front.

The KV-5 is a brawler, a relatively fast moving heavy damage sponge that can support but not lead (because of its weak gun) a front line push. The Lowe is a sloth-ish sniper that can deal damage halfway across the map. I had six kills the other day from one single spot, not more than 100m from the spawn. So you might want to consider play style too in your choice.

Lowe = squishy armor but an awesome gun *needs a hull down position to be great*

KV-5 = Great armor and ok gun. *needs to get to the sides or back to be great*

I have a Lowe but only have read postings about the KV-5 and this is what I have concluded.

Actually, if you angle your armor so the R2D2 on the KV-5 is on the opposite side that the enemy is on, the R2D2 (weak spot) is harder to hit. My tier 5 SU-85 can penetrate the Lowes' lower plate no problem, while the back end of the KV-5 will bounce most tier 4-6 guns.

I'm sorry, neither Löwe nor KV-5 fit this description.

I agree the T34 is better then both if played right. The Lowe is like a zippo lighter and the KV5 is to weak for a high level battles
