looks like another x3 xp special, everyone knows what that means,  i think i will wait till about 2 in the morning EST so i can avoid at least half of the complete fail teams.

i will collecting battle results this weekend, feel free to post your x3 fail teams as well..  who knows, maybe WG will actually see this and do something  (extremely doubtful)

EDIT: lol, neg reps, did i hit a nerve with the people that only come out on x3/5 events?  truth hurts doesn't it?

Or just don't play anything tier 6 or below. Then you'll only see the x3tards when they're 'tooned up.

Eheh. Illiterate me.

Well. That sucks.

Is it just me, or are all the players in WOT on crack lately? Every game recently, most being tier 9-10 battles... Our tier 10s play like its their first day! On westfield, our e100, and 2 other heavies, went to the valley floor, and got the rest of us screwed up in the process... Not only that, no matter what i do, i keep losing and losing and losing... sigh. there are many other examples of noobs, such as everyone going field on ensk, and they die, then on abbey, everyone went center... and died....

I have a stock Patton sitting in my garage that I haven't played yet.  I bought it four days ago and didn't have the free experience to upgrade the tracks so I could at least mount the upgraded 90mm along with equipment, so I decided to let it collect dust for a few days while I gained the free experience needed so I wasn't taking a stock tier 9 into battle.  With the 3x I think that is about to change.  I think I will just put my Pershing crew into it and gimp it even further, but I figure it should be about on par with the teams that we are about to see this weekend.

IDK all I know is since installing XVM I've seen just how many sub 45% players are driving Tier 10 tanks...

Sounds like a complaint to me... :Smile-tongue:

I actually enjoy these specials - it means that, despite the rest of the team, I can really shine sometimes. And by golly the winning streaks are awesome (when they appear, those rocking-horse-poo-esque things that they are!)

Assume that you cannot always be on the losing team - yes, streaks will come and go, but sooner or later you will get on a good streak and get to pad stats against those same teams you were previously wanting to kill with the blunt end of a stick.

Enjoy the ride and wait out the good streaks, or simply don't play if it's infuriating as much as it can be and is something you don't want to deal with.

Either way, don't let it get you down!

(Disclaimer: I am currently inebriated and jolly. In all likelihood I will soon be getting my stick out of the locked cupboard).

this is why i dont place value on the win/loss ration. since its a team game, i like hit ratio, avg xp per battle etc....

Ever since that big 5x (or 3x...can't remember) special in May traumatized me with 20 consecutive losses, and a 12 for 65 overall day where my win rate dropped by a whole percentage point, I too stay away whenever these 2, 3 or 5x xp weekends come around.

The level of idiocracy on some of these teams is just unbearable. Tier 10s driving straight across the field on Campinova, stopping occasionally to shoot at invisible targets... :facepalmic:

If your theory is true then the "Tards" will be on both sides. So should not effect you at all. Would not worry though only gentleman tankers play Churchills

Shouldn't this just mean there are that many more idiots to target and it should be easier to win?  I mean each team should be crawling with the same number of idiots.  So if it is the RNG or MM or bad teams all I see here is that it will average out and it doesn't matter if you have idiots on your team.  And that is actually beginning to make sense to me.

What doesn't make sense to me is that one person can turn a fail team into a winning team.  Maybe it is just because I haven't run into the one man team that wins pub matches solo yet.

Garbad do you want to platoon up so I can see one person win a game with little to no help.

What are you going to do? the game is based on random team generation based on what's available and places them based on the value of their tanks on a randomly selected map. Yes there are more players logged in during specials like this and it is going to have it's fair share of good and bad players. I used to expect the worst and that was exactly what I got. Now I expect the best and portray some positive attitude. I still have losses, but I notice I have fewer than when I was negative.

Otherwise, if it is so bad there is a solution... don't play this week-end. Life is way too short to let a simple game bring you so much frustration and negativity!

+1.  I really hate all the idiots playing extra hours to get in some extra cre.  Makes these event weekends very long and frustrating.  You only get 3x on 1st win, just do it...

If you know how to play, exp are easy to earn.  I can do 40~50k exp in 3 hours easy.  Converting it to free exp?  Thats the $64 gold question...

Nah, it means this...

Instead of the 3~4 players on my team I have to compensate for with superior and smart gameplay.  I will now see 6~8 on my team.  That's the problem OP is stating.

And yes, I have won quite a few of my 7000 wins by myself.  Hit me up if you want a replay or 2.  As I had to do this at least 5~6 times over last weekend.  Win the game by myself...

I understand your frustration, but wouldn't it do more good to start a thread trying to organize some decent players to platoon with to help you endure the smacktards that will be running about? Maybe we could even get a head start on setting up some preorganized companies to stay out of the pubs as much as possible this weekend.

The law of averages states that as many idiot teams you have you should also get good teams, no matter what the mix of idiots to good players.  It also states that the other side should have the same idiots on it, making your target pool of idiots who want to die larger.

I just don't get it.  Yes, there will be more idiots playing during 3X weekends.  But each side should be equally effected by the influx of stupid people.

I mean you have to fight with me on your side most of the time.  If you can make up for my poor play a couple of additional idiots shouldn't change things that much.  :Smile-izmena:

Nah, it's just my w/r ratio drops at least 10% on weekends?  Why is that?  More idiots playing.  That's why.

Last few days? I am rolling along at 72% wins.  Over last weekend?  It dropped to 61% wins.

So, more people playing?  Equals more idiots on every team.  And it only takes 1 idiot to lose the battle.
