BLACK-LIST capability to fend off bots and...

I would very much like the ability to black-list players who either are bots or afk'ers.
I like to play this game to blow stuff up..great fun...even more fun when entire team SHOWS-up. I like to follow the battle after I'm killed..when I'm killed...which is approx 50 percent of the time.
And I hate seeing 10 minutes into the battle one of our heavies..just sitting at his original spawn point....not participating in any way or form...makes me want to NEVER EVER play with that person again....EVER.
Same with bots....when u see a tank just move forward...a little...stop then fire....then reverse a little stop..and then fire again at nothing.....I NEVER EVER want to play with that person again either.
GRIEFERS.....I have not had more than 3 games with griefers.....but would very much enjoy the opportunity to BLACK-LIST them FOREVER as well.
This is how I would perceive the black-list functionality working....I could open a black-dialog window.....add or remove players.....with no limit on how many names I could add. The match-maker would then exclude from my public games anyone on that list.
At first I would imagine that the match maker would take additional time to put together public matches. But as more and more people added the offending players to their black-lists...eventually most if not all public matches would exclude those who SUCK THE FUN OUT OF THIS GAME completely. And then these OFFENDERS...will be on so many black-lists...that their public games would eventually just consist of them and the other OFFENDERS.....lol....they would all be together...and JUSTICE would be served...
...naive....I know..but would be funny to see...
...both teams ...everyone AFK...lol..
Now heres the really really neat part.......by having the players able to black-list other players.....we now have the player community POLICING itself without intervention from wargaming.net..........what a concept. I do acknowledge that while this BLACK-LISTing concept seems to be pretty simple at first glance......it will require a SIGNIFICANT time, energy and resources on the part of wargaming.net to implement and setup....but after that...little or now work on their part requred...and they would EMPOWER their customers....
Ok..but what a concept..
I would also imagine that a mechanism could be built in to the maintenance of players black-lists....that entries in these lists could be aged...and that if the user desired....could have the 90 days or older entries removed automatically. Players would also be able to know just how many other players' black-lists they are part of...and maybe have some sort of ability to appeal or apologize to the offended player through game messaging to get them removed from these black lists......cause we all know...that some afks are caused by real life events...like wifes and childrens.....
Anyway...feel free to down rep me if you strongly disagree with this idea....cause I know their are a lot of strongly minded people out their who are bleeding heart liberals....LOL....

If you ever see a suspected botter, always report it to support and they'll handle it. Make sure to take sceenshots also if you see a suspected botter, or preferably send in a replay.

I hear you..I understand...but would make me as a customer..feel really really better about the situation by being able to do something that I can see and know is ACTUALLY doing something about the problem...by being able to NEVER EVER play with that bot-afk-player again. And then to be able to manage that list.
And eventually...with everyone doing it..building their BL's with all of the offending players that they come across....eventually all of the public games would be completely CLEAN of the offenders....thus improving the quality of the public games some what...

Me..grief someone...perish the thought......oh I have gone off when someone has rammed me from behind...surprising me.....then blaming me for the accident..then shoots me.....in the butt....all n the first 15 seconds of a match.....causing me to turn and shoot back....believe me I'm no saint........but I do try and not be like that..and 99.99 percent of the time I'm pretty good....no matter what tank I'm in.....even when I'm at the bottom I 'll ask where they want me to park my corpse during an attempted scouting run.....I try and not suicide during that....but more often I run right into all four of the opposing force's arty at the same time...doh..fry for it..
I'll also moan and whine sometimes about the MM dissing me....but thats about it.

As suggested above me, try the report option. It is there, if you are uneducated as how to used it them perhaps you should play another game where you don't get so upset about it. Its not like I was once banned because of butthurt individuals like yourself, but I left the match at start up because it was out tiered for like the infinitive repeative time once again since everyone just drives a tier 8 or higher making the mid tiers pointless to even exist and never intended to play it which means I never should of been rewarded for it. Not my problem those silly developers have to put in shared experience (that little bit of shitty reward you get for barely participating before you blow up to a +3 tier tank), remove it, remove spotting experience, if no action after 2 minutes the tank should just blow up of its own accord (except for the "bot" behavior, AFK is a simple matter to kick in the balls and end it period if in fact no one is there at the computer). Of course, being that the silly developers leave that crappy little reward feature int it just encourages AFK behavior.
I have used the report feature...often. But I have not seen anyone banned because of it being used. And don't remember seeing a choice for AFK either. Just choices for abusive behavior and suspected BOT. I do understand that people can be afk for the disconnect bug at the beginning of map loading..or real life intervenes...
I do like seeing AFK tanks sitting at their original spawn points on the OPPOSING side when approaching their base, and then getting then getting the damage credits you get from inflicting damage on those afker's, always brings a smile to my face...so leaving them in game does benefit someone...just not the team that they are on..*chuckle*.
Anyway...I do take breaks away from this game...
