I started a ticket, got a response, did everything they wanted, and got the same result. I sent the log back to the support ticket person. Sounds like a bigger problem than they think

I must be having a different problem. I don't get the critical error message. In my case, the launcher just disappears, but when I check what's running using the task manager, it's still running. I can't start another instance as it's already running. And no matter how long I wait, nothing happens. I have reinstalled with no success.
I'm glad for everyone that has the "critical error" problem and that there's a potential solution....

I tried:
didn't work for me. I looked further and in the "more infomation" tap it says to look into the "Event Viewer" in "System and Maintenance"
Here I could see that "Microsoft.VC90.CRT" was asking for "version="9.0.30729.1", which I didn't had installed / updated!
I google and seached how to update this and found this you can install and have the right versions:
http://www.microsoft...ual-cpp-express (Microsoft page where you can download / install Visual C++ 2010 Express from)
Maybe there are easier fixs to download, but hey! I'm ingame...

Same here, guess WOT rushed this update out way to fast. I deleted all files like i was told to do and reboot the computer, make sure all traces of WOT was off the computer except the install file and then reinstalled. and what do you know did it work? NO. guess WOT is gonna lose thousands of players over this one.
