Launcher Critical Error

I had this issue as soon as I DL'd the 7.4 Patch. I am using Vista 64. I solved it by using the Regedit.exe fix which is posted in this thread. Good luck all!

Ok, I've been trying to fix this error for hours - all day, in fact.
I GOT IT WORKING!!
What fixed mine was the following I found on a Microsoft tech support forum:
----
Another possible fix:
For side by side configuration issue
Click on Start> Control panel> Program> Program and features
Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ applications listed.
Once done, download the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 from the link below, installed it and check if office applications works fine:
http://www.microsoft...&displayLang=en
------
I tried all the other methods (registry editing, etc.). I can't tell you how many times I've installed and uninstalled WoT, Visual C++ in multiple versions, etc.
The above suggestion worked for me, just thought I'd pass it along.
- also, I did reboot after I had uninstalled all the versions of Microsoft C++, before I installed the new one I had downloaded.
- Oh, and I'm running Vista

It works! Thank you so much.
One of my Microsoft C++ is probably corrupt.
I hope this solution works on you guys who still has that problem.
