Tiger is a great tank.
With precise and fast long-barrel 8.8 cm gun, there is nothing you cannot damage in the game. That said, Tiger really shine when fully upgraded and with competent crew. You will probably hate it when you first buy it, but the more you will play that tank, the more rewarding it get.
The module damage people are whinning about is not worse than on any other tank I've played. When I get hit by large caliber HE shell and survive, I expect the tank not to be able to perform as well as before.
It's best tier VII in my opinion and heavy tank of choice for me. Got IS 4 and Tiger II parked in the garage, but they just occupying slots there. They are not bad tanks, but I just like Tiger more. It's much more relaxing to play and more economic as well.

There is nothing strange on engine damage with frontal hit. Your tanks is basicly a box of stell and there isnt many things able to stop shell inside the tank.

Really? So far playing Russian tanks, I don't get frontal shots that take out my engine. Still, poor argument there, bro.

Hmm not really, I'd aim for the russian heavy tree, A IS-7 can pretty much drive circles around your Tiger 2.

I see a lot of people coming to the defence of the Tiger.  But this is not about the Tiger being a bad tank like the KV.  This is about the Tiger seems to have a higher than normal mod damage.  At first when my clan mates said so I said that it's subjective and maybe just a bad run.  I know when I am saying it is, and those are saying it is not, it is still subjective.  However, when a large number of people seem to have the same complaint, it cannot be ignored.  I wish I could query the data server, and QA logs to see if data exist to back up or dismiss my claim that the Tiger does have higher than normal mod damage.  But for now, the only thing that seems to back up the claims - a weak back up - is they are adding bug fixes to the Tiger I collision model.  A collision model is not just ramming.

All those things said, I like my Tiger one the best, I was EXTREAMLY pissed off with the Tiger 2s upgrade gun being total shit however. It bounces off everything, it cost 1k+ for one shell, and then dies.. which cost me WAY more then Tiger one to use. Everyone says use the 8.8 gun with Tiger two an the admin said in general chat. Use normal turret and 8.8 on tiger two to lower your cost. Guess what, $#!* the tiger two use the tiger one at this point it also is "lower repair cost" and "uses 8.8" Making the tiger two utterly useless in some terms. Tiger one its pretty sweet updated to the max, and I can kill most things under Tier 8 without much trouble. So this said I have to agree Tiger one is a worthwhile toy to have.

So what I saw last night didn't actually happen? I really thought I saw a T-44 circling a Tiger II as he fired shot after shot into it. After he caught it on fire, he came and did the same to my Tiger I.

Tiger II's engine or tracks wasnt upgraded, or tiger II player was noob and didnt used hull traverse to boost turret traverse.

Ha Ha Ha Ha, Tiger 2 player a noob. I kinda doubt that, it takes quite a lot of time to get to the Tiger 2. He might have been a bad player, but I doubt he was a noob.

However, this does negate your statement that a T-44 can't do this - he did, regardless of the reason, i.e. no upgrades, bad player, etc.

If the KT was tracked or the engine was damaged then the T-44 could circle him with ease. Otherwise, it isn't possible to out-turn a KT that is using track and turret traversal to keep up. Believe me, me and my T-44 wish we could.....
