Dates for days replaced? (turned from DD/...

Hey, ever since around 7.4, all dates such as when a member joined for instance show up in the European style instead of the MM/DD/YYYY that it was previously and is what my country uses...
Is there a way to undo this or fix it? Seeing the dates in a more sensible albeit unfamiliar fashion can be annoying... :P

Thats the right way surely, we read from left to right, why would months be first? +1 For Euro Style

Personally, I think it is far more sensible to use DD/MM/YYYY than the US system. Reading US dates can get you confused very easily. You see 12/05/2012, and you have to wonder, do they mean the twelfth of May 2012, or fifth of December 2012?

It's very sensible, but it's not what we use. Same reason why we don't use the metric system lol. Everyone's just used to seeing month before date, so it can just be confusing sometimes.

Well, conversions between US and metric caused the crash of one Mars lander. It's not that I don't use Imperial measures myself, I always say how tall I am in feet and inches, and weight in stones and pounds. But it would make more sense to use accepted measures for everyone, and the metric system isn't that difficult. But I suppose I'll have to keep missing release dates due to US dating
