Hello all! Now i want to show one beautifull mod - Modern War Sound Mod v.2.2 (American version)
http://www.imageup.r...03/logo12-2.jpg
This mod like on russian and european servers, but now it is American version.
Made by Quadro7F
This mod on YouTube
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=6X3kRIZacGk

Info:

Quote

Description: The mod uses the procedure adopted by the American tank M1A2 Abrams. For example, when reloading, loader shouting "Up", which means that the automatic partition is closed (you can hear in the background), the projectile in the barrel and the fuse in the top position. Or, at a penetration of the enemy to damage, the commander yells "Re Engage", which means to repeat the volley.
Almost all of the sounds (99%) were treated by hand with the addition of special effects for specific situations. For example, when the death of a tank radio operator shouted "Mayday", then the commander is trying to open the hatch and then ordered everyone to leave the tank =)

You can download this mod from his site: http://quadro7f.16mb...of-tanks/sounds
But sorry for russian (i think he from Russia)
How to download:
1) Open his site
2) Press "Download"

The engines are just too out of place for me, but the other sounds thusfar are pretty nice. I'll see if I can download it later and give it a try.

EDIT: I kept getting an install file for the freaking Yandex bar, which I obviously don't want. If someone could put this up on a secondary mirror other than a Russian one, that would be amazing, possibly Curse?

EDIT #2: Found another mirror :)http://depositfiles....files/id685wslw

EDIT #3: WOW! This is incredible! I didn't use the engine noises because I didn't really prefer that jet sounding deal, but the rest of it freaking top notch. Makes me completely reinvent how I look at the game, it just feels so much more mature now. I did, however, experience some lag with the first few shots of the game being fired, I'm hoping that's a one time thing. However, taking a wild guess here, but it sounds like some of the sounds were taken from Wargame: European Escalation, am I wrong here?

This is a great mod and all, but the gun sounds make my headphones crackle -.- either that or it's poor quality. Do I have to change my sound settings or something?

Edit: Tbh the headphones aren't crackling at all, I think the gun sounds are just poor quality or I just need to adjust the sound settings... any ideas?

Very nice mod, but the engine sound is out of place for me so i dont use it.

Also i notice that for some reason after using this mod it makes my loading time every match longer than usual

I actually think its the quality of the gun sounds, it does it to mine as well. I use different engine sounds as well but I love the other stuff it has.

Not bad, won't use it because of the sound of fire though. I like my big boom when I fire  .

Seems he's split the fsb files up in a more 7.4 fashion. Should help with loading speed. I'm trying it out right now. I still can't use the weapons, though, as it's missing the sound for the D1's 45mm HE gun. DB

The main thing I'm hoping for is that whenever I'm in my first game, whenever the first shot, hit, and cap for either side starts, there's a very, very short freeze time. It's not game breaking or anything, but it'd be nice to not have that happen.

I like the little yell from the loader when reload is complete... I dont like much the radio chatter.

I also have the same problem, did it get fixed in 2.3?

Amazing mod!, IDK if anyone else is experiencing a complete lack of in-battle music (with modded music.fsb and .fev) and no engine sounds (at all) if you don't use the modded vehicles.fsb and .fev.
