Just a suggestion I thought would be nice to get gold. Alot of gaming websites feature a currency that enables members to get premium items and special features, just like WoT. However just like this game the currency must be bought. The gaming websites do have an alternative way for players to obtain the currency though, by doing special offers such as surveys or other offers. I think this is a good way for wargaming to earn more money and give players a way to have more fun in the game as well. Anyway it's just a suggestion. Comment if you want

Yeah, let's make WG poorer by having them give away their only source of income for free, without tangible benefits for them!

there's already ways you could do surveys to get ultimate game cards... ultimate game card= money= a way you can buy gold with, never really tried it myself but I didn't really need it.

Wargaming has done this from time to time. Contests, special promotions, new social apps. I haven't seen one in awhile but they have done it from time to time.

I was thinking of this like a kind of permanent feature...
And we do not need that there is already to many players throwing a fit on how the game is running for them or how the MM is treating them lol

I always thought they should reward you every 1000 battles with maybe 250 gold and an additional 250 every 2.5k battles. Not enough to get anything substantial, but enough to reward players for putting a huge amount of time into the game. Premium is where most of the gold in WoT goes, and 250-500 isnt enough to make a difference. You would have to run about 8k battles to get premium for one month. Giving small amounts like that gives free players the chance to experience premium for a few days which would just make them want it more when it goes away so quickly.

they will never make a it a permanent feature wargaming.net would lose way to much money that way and then you would see more people throwing a fit due to the fact that the game would be going downhill.

Some games let you earn premium money by logging in atleast every 24 hours, but it as very small amount. For a player that is planning on making a big convertion or something they would have to wait a rather long time! Suppose that the reward for loggin every 24 hours on is 30 gold, that would be a while before it would be of any majior amount. People would still want to buy gold, maybe less. The marketting trick is to try to get poeple addicted to gold so that they will buy more and more of it. so in the long run it will pay off for WG.

I love this idea, but don't they do that already in the form of Clan Wars? If it weren't for that, I would hope that they would do something like that. +1

Besides the contests they have going on give you gold which is about as close to giving away free gold as they're going to get.

If you can manage a large portion of battles afk without getting banned, props to you. I really doubt people could however. With requiring 8k battles to get 1 month premium you would have to afk a LOT to get anything significant. Hopefully WG will add an 'afk' report option soon, but thats another problem.

They allow you to earn points to get Ultimate Game Cards, you need to earn 13,000 points to get a $10 card. You get a 1,000 points for signing up and doing surveys and signing up for offers gets you ~500 points each.

Wargaming.net does a lot of Contests and you want them to give gold away through a 3rd party. Who will take you away from Wargaming.net. Who may not give it to you anyway. Who may ask you to download free software with free adware, toolbars, web beacons and god knows what else. Which will take more time away from Wargaming.net, as many try to uninstall that crap. Then people will come to the forums and rage about why Wargaming.net didn't pay them their gold, gave them a virus, raped them and their brother, mother, father, sister, grand parents, cousins. neighbors and everyones pets. Seen it before, No Thanks!!!
