I just recently bought the T34 with some B-Day money and its amazing. Although that gun stuns me every time I fire it. My first game in it I did about 1200dmg and got no kills. I am having no buyers remorse with the 50 dollars spent. My favorite moment was on lakeville where I facehugged a KV-5 killing him without losing a single HP point. The turret is great. Im stilling getting used to hull down. (used to T14 and KV-1 frontal armor 
) I have only gotten up to the M6 in the Heavy line. My one question is the T29 and beyond as much fun to play as this because if so SIGN ME UP!

Ok so take the t34, give it "ears" and give it a long 105, and there you got a t29 (as far as i know)

I haven't played the T34 that much, but the t29 should be similar. They are both have the same turrret and hull (T34 has more rear turret armor) and they have about the same speed (T29 is a bit faster, plus the turret turns faster). The guns are IMO the main difference. They both have good alpha damage, but the T29 does 80 less damage, is less accurate, and has ~40 less pen than the T34. However, it aims a lot faster and reloads a lot faster too.
P.S. The "ears" on the T29 count as spaced armor now, so they do not take damage when they get hit.

The T34 is a bit slower, but it is stronger and the 120 mm is much more powerful.

Well, glad your loving your T34...1200 dmg is decent but aim for 1500+ dmg per battle...facehugged a KV5 and you didnt lose a single HP? That KV5 driver was not all that good of a tanker then...your T34 has a raised roof, big forehead and VERY tall commander cupola he can shoot and do PLENTY of damage to you. Either way, glad you like it, have fun tanking in it.
As for the rest of the US Heavy line...I find the T29, T32, M103 and T110...I find them to be MUCH more VERSATILE machines then the T34 Premium.....
The T29, it has a MUCH lower penetration gun that does a fair bit less damage, but it is considerably more mobile.....
T32...it is everythingthe T29 is but buffed up a couple notches...its better armored, more reliable gun, despite them being the same and its MORE mobile....kinda like a souped up M26 Pershing....
M103...it is fairly mobile, decent, deadly, fairly high penetration, accurate gun, fairly poor armor overall...all in all this tank plays MUCH like a T34 with mobility imo...best used at mid range to snipe things down a bit with its high pen and accuracy. Come in late and sweep the garbage out to the curb...if it goes in early it DIES in seconds..it bullies mediums fairly well...it doesnt stand up to heavies T8 and up very well though.
T110....absolute BEAST of a tank...great frontal armor, It is everything the M103 is but buffed 5 notches.....more reliable armor, more reliable gun, faster, more mobile, better view range....it is like the T32...a severely souped up version of the tank below it...and it does a very good job....
best tanks in the US heavy line imho: T32 and T110....they both take every attribute of the tank below them and expound on them to make them really truly good tanks....T29, its aight but missing something, M103, its aigth but missing that something...T32 and T110....they have that SOMETHING that th tanks below them dont and it shows......
