I am crashing 5 to 8 times a day and it is getting old. Is there a way to check the game for broken files or fix it????

I feel your pain. I am not crashing that many times but my crashes have almost doubled since 7.4. They usually wait til I am in game and then hammer me.

Unfortunately it is not just you that is having this problem. Even some people with top of the line computers are crashing to desktop after a battle. My bet is a broken line of code. I crash maybe 4 times a day at most. So it seems the problem varies from person to person. Some do not get it at all and claim it's your pc that needs upgrading. IMO it is not the pc that is causing the problems, WG probably introduced or took away a line of code that is causing such a problem. It'll be fixed, don't you worry.

I feel your pain too . Not only but many , many people around here got this bug . All you need to do now is wait for the devs to get a hand on it .

I am getting this a good deal too, most often when i select return to garage. the crash to desktop during start up of a match is, in my case, far less common but present.

Around 7.1 I crashed every 4-8 matches but if I was quick enough Alt-Ctrl-Del, task manager, would correct that instance. An inconvenience, but post 7.4 I'm locking up with a "super" version of this bug up where it occurs every 3rd game. It stutters and then crashes out forcing me to log back in. Most of the time as you can imagine to a dead crew.
Needless to say it's getting on my last nerve.
