How do you deal with the frustration of this game?

From shells going out the side of your gun instead of the front, the disappearing tanks 100m in front of you in the open field while moving (large or small doesn't matter) , the lag spikes , the match maker, the game mechanics (RNG/dice roll), the poor team play 99% of the time, the 0 damage pens, the bouncing rounds off stationary targets with a perfect side profile, the 1hp invincible enemy tank even with HE rounds, the crash to desktop on a consistent basis, the constant team killers/grievers, the suicide people, the afker's.

What is your resolution to that?

I pick another tank to play and move on.  Its just a game.  Yes frustrating but not worth losing my mind over.

How do I deal? I win. Winning makes most things disappear.

Take a 2 or 3 day break and not play any games.

I rebuy back some of my favorite tanks like the Hetzer or the M2 MT and play them for a little while before going back to high tiers.
Or rebuy a tank from tier 1 or 2 and play them.

Log out and go play another game for a while before you get back in , or go take a break , watch TV , read a book ..... There are many thing for you to do when you feel frustrating . In my case I'll pick my ISU-152 and go blow some unlucky guy sky high .

It is all part of the experience...you have a good win rate, so you obviously have figured out how to deal with it.

Keep your PzII and Marder. When you are having a bad time, play them a few games. Much fun.

I go play Amnesia... and after about five minute of getting the pants scared off me, I'm back playing tanks.

I stopped caring.  I tried to play more for fun, just enjoy the ride.  That's the point of a game anyway, right?  I'm just grinding tanks right now anyway.  And as you can see, my win rate suddenly didn't drop to 45% like some would like to claim it would if I just played for fun and use it as an excuse when I don't care if I lose or someone screws up.

I vent a little to myself and move onto the next tank and tell myself it's just a game so try and have fun. I will sometimes take a break for a day or even up to 4-5 days if I'm really disgusted too.

I vent quite often lately at the game play.

I have plenty of game to keep me occupied, DCS A10-C, Cliffs of Dover.  I do enjoy the whole simulation experience.

But, once this game starts putting me in sh!t, I just feel as though its my duty to ram that crap back down WG throat by playing more and overcoming its flawed mechanics by any means at my disposal, which the only option at my disposal is to platoon with mates.  But even then, yes, even with determined spirit and a group of good mates, we have killed at least half the enemy team, only to find that we are the only tanks left on the field to fight a superior force, with bigger guns and better armor most of the time.

July 10th (if I am so lucky) will not come quick enough.  At that point, I hope I can leave the frustration behind and find enjoyment again in the virtual combat world.

I take breaks and play other games or do other things.

It's an odd game. I want to play it because the core concept is a lot of fun but I know the frustration potential is very high so I'm hesitant to play. At the moment I haven't played for 3 weeks, I want to but keep reading of other peoples frustrations on the forum and I just end up doing something else.

I found the perfect way to de-stress because of some of the players on WoT

I go play GTA 4 on multiplayer, and just go nuts
