This is the Tech tree Branch i am referring to.

First Tank's First. the Lorraine G1L at Tier 5.

Lorraine G1L- Lorraine's tank design in competition with BDR and Renault.

Alright, so anybody can tell first picture looks like something related to the AMX-40, and last is the BDR G1B. basically it falls in-between them as a Tier 5 (all 3 are Tier 5), maybe more armored than the BDR. also interesting to note, the one that is obviously an AMX-40 is slated to be another tanl other than the AMX-40 as Tier 5 on an alternate heavy branch!! (see above next to BDR G1B)

Second Tank in  the Line is the AMX-13 Chaffee/FL-11. at Tier 6.

from what i can tell it's basically an AMX 13 75 with a different turret, hopefully with some gun depression :)

here is the premium tank AMX-13/FL-11.

Okay Third, we have the AMX Chasseur de Char at Tier 7.

Posted Image Posted Image

............ No comment on this tank, but it looks weird as heck. convenient ammo rack located in front AND back!!(other rack near driver)

4th, we Have the Tier 8 Medium, AMX-45. from what i can tell somewhere in-between this

Posted Image

And an AMX-50. okay then... kind of looks like a PZIII tier 8 style

.for Tier 9, we have the "AMX-30 prototype"  hard to tell if it is THIS:

Posted Image

Or Some made up Wargaming tank like the T-28 Prototype.

For the Tier 10 Tank, and this one has me really excited, it is this.

Posted Image

Heck yes. HECK yes. Late 1960's to early 1970's medium in World of tanks!! YAY! "nerf nerf nerf"

Mounts  a 105mm gun, 80mm sloped, looks really fast, and SMALL. apparently France and Germany tried to develop a tank together, but it didn't work out so they moved on to their own seperate different prototypes. while the AMX-30 is not directly related to the Leopard 1, they influenced each other., Germany's became the Leopard 1, France's became This.

so.. yeah. any thoughts? looks to me like a slightly more conventional medium line than the current one, with the last 2 being super-modern beasts. Comments Appreciated :Smile_Default:

That's not the AMX 40... that's the G1R, completely different tank. Also, the AMX 13 Chaffee is either an AMX 13 with a Chaffee turret, or a Chaffee with an AMX 13 turret. That's the AMX 13 FL 11, also, a different tank. Notice, it's in the bottom listed as a premium tank.

uhm well sorry, but it DID look like an AMX-40 or something extremely similar. i noticed its official designation though.  second, the "AMX-13 Chaffee" doesn't exist, and it says AMX-13 Chaffee/FL-11,so i'm assuming by the / that it's going to be very similar.

also, i would appreciate some support instead of correcting it, i researched this stuff for an hour because it it was in my interest to do so.

AMX 30 ... MBT, early 1960's. The AMX 30 and the Leopard were Independent and unrelated projects.

Your font's too small. You must make it bigger.

erm, according to this source, they were working together, split off and use completely different prototypes. so while the designs weren't directly related, they influenced each other.

I'm stoked for the AMX30 honestly, it's something that I will actually spend time grinding out. I love it's design, more than I care for the Leopard 1. It's one of my more favorite vehicles to use in Wargame: European Escalation.

wow that line seems quite interresting, I will definitly try this line, all tanks seems quite nice with an awesome ending with the AMX-30. Can't wait anymore. This second medium line will be after the British tanks I bet ?

Whoa awesome thanks for the info dude! Assuming the AMX-30 is going to be a non autoloader 105mm armed speedy brawler but similar fighting style of current M46 Patton with less HP and basically no armor expect turret manlet??? Or am I wrong?. Seems interesting to say the least! Mediums FTW. We need fast sustained firepower platforms to win Assualts in 10 minutes, seriously what the hell!!!! LOL some tanks can't move across map in that time T95 cough cough...

Could be a nice escort to the M48A5. The "Anti-Batchat device." Devs do not instant-smash it with the nerfsledgehammer of shit this time k? After release give it time to get public and into hands of average pub players especially those not on prem who are tempted to yell OP when in truth it's the 11000+ game expert behind the wheel. It's not our fault they autoaim and bounce off of our no armor french tanks.

Great game! I prefer top end Leo 1 variants though.

I wonder how the AMX 30 will be competitive against the bat chat since it is without an autoloader.

maybe, but wargaming has too many updates planned its hard to tell. alternate russian medium line, alternate russian TD line, alternate german TD line, british (0.7.6)
Tier 10 mediums and TD's (0.7.5), alternate german medium line, american Christie tanks (lol), T-60, T-70 and T-80 russian lights, and hopefully a physics update of some kind ^^. oh an all of the premiums listed in every tech tree will be thrown in there somewhere :). oh, and other whole nation's tech trees are planned too.

Does anybody know the performance of the 105 gun that was mounted on the AMX-30? Was it comparable to the L/7?

No Idea, but Wargaming never follows historical Gun stats for balancing purposes, its anybody's guess

Opposite. They usualy make guns with accurate Penetration stats, with some small amount of guns that have lower/higher penetration.
