Well the RMX-54 Proto.(also RMX-54 MK.I) was originally designed as a heavy tank. Its rival, the RMX-55(It will be added later) was far superior in virtually every aspect. Seance 5 prototypes were made and the need of a modern medium tank arose, 4 of the MK.Is were greatly shortened(in height) as a temporary fix while an improved vehicle would be made, and renamed RMX-54 MK.II(also will be added later)

The RMX-54 Prototype is a very interesting machine. Despite being a medium, its size and maneuverability mimics that of high tiered heavies(Its as tall as Maus or SU-14). Its armor isnt super despite the huge size and its turret doesn't turn a full 360 deg.(Like T28 Prototype). Luckily, it is extremely durable and has a very outstanding weapon, the 65mm UHV Proto. This cannon has high penetration that is similar penetration to the T-28's 85mm cannon, turning it into a very useful vehicle, even in high tiered battles. It shouldn't fight up-close due to its pitiful maneuverability and lack of a fully revolving turret.

The RMX-60 is a very fast, high penetrating tank with a similar playstyle to the AMX-50B. That is, to move from 1 point in the battlefield to an other, to support other top leveled vehicles, and to not take enemy shots.

The RMX-60 was originally going to be a TD, the HMR-60. While it wasn't going to be in production for a long time, it would help keep the 115mm HVAPATG MK I a non-towed gun in a new, heavily armored haul. While the HMR-60 was under going testing, the design for a turret that was strong enough to hold the 115mm but also be light enough to be mounted on a semi-light weight haul(HMR/RMX-60's haul) was being tested. The original turret was a large, hexagonal turret and was mounted on a heavily modified haul from the RMX-58, and renamed RMX-61. This turret could carry a 115mm gun and was the lightest turret design made so far, but it was still over the weight limit. A new turret built by Armich Motors couldn't carry the original 115mm gun mounted in the HMR-60, so the 115 Proto. on the RMX-61 was mounted on this turret. The turret was mounted on the HMR-60's haul and it was renamed RMX-60. After a few modifications to the 115mm HVAPATG MK I(Most were lighter parts), it was mounted on the RMX-60's turret and operated much better than the 115mm Proto. The new RMX-60s with this gun would be known as RMX-60B

If they were added in the game, they would have the highest overall penetration, great engines and great armor, but they have poor firepower, poor maneuverability ,and are very large.


Note: The RMX-15J to RMX-60 are vary unique compared to the others. They are small and have great maneuverability but have poor armor and semi-poor durrability

By description do you mean 'History' of the tank or stats/playstyle of the tanks? because I am giving the playstyle/stats of the tanks out when they seam balenced to the vehicles in the game. Look at the RMX-60 and RMX-54 Proto./MK I

Now, firstly, this tank takes place as a defensive tank. It can be easily destroyed if flanked as well as if the large weakpoints(the driverport and the turret)are hit.It could also be a good support tank due to its thick armor and high penetrating gun.


History of the tank:

The Rebar was originally designed to replace the 'obsolete' RMX-30 'Lions' that the military was fielding. However, the Lions were still being used as airborne tanks due to their light weight and powerful gun. In fact, the only thing the Rebar improved was armor and ease af maintenance. Luckily, though, the Rebar did not die early. Due to the massive amount made(3000 or so), many variants of the Rebar were made, such as the HMR-32 and the Rebar M65mmC, both of which were used by the airborne. The original Rebar was also used as a training tank and as a Airborne vehicle for light ops.

The RMX-35 was designed as an infantry tank. Its counterpart, the ZAL(BMRH-15), was what it had to compete with(even though they were both built for the same task). The RMX-35 had a max armor of 40mm to survive most low powered AT guns while its engine let it reach its top speed quickly if it had to. It was withdrawn from front like duty after the RMX-44 was put into full production

The RMX-35 is similar to the Hotchkiss in frontal armor and has decent speed, but its maneuverability is pitiful, and its armor has many 'thin' spots. Flanking it will kill it quickly and on its front armor, there are three thin areas; the front flat bit on the bottom of the haul(about 30mm), the turret(stock at 20mm and top at 25mm), and the small box on the top of the haul(25mm thick).

The RMX-54 is a well armored medium tank with a great penetrating gun. its radio isnt as good as most of its counterparts and its damage and maneuverability are also not that good. Luckily, it has great penetration and very thick armor, not to mention its firerate is more than optimal.

The RMX-54 came from the RMX-54 MK I(Read its history) and MK II. Being a much better design than the Mk I, it also a better design than the MK II, causing it to skip testing. Its main gun, the 65mm MK III, was made to penetrate deep through heavy tank armor and make sure that the round will do something upon impact. This great was also modified into a tank destroyer, the HMR-54. The RMX-54 was eventually put out of front line service after the RMX-68 went into production. Even then, the RMX-54 still operated in secondary fronts.
