Custom Arcade and Sniper Reticles with Armor and Gun Info Panel

I came across this over on mirtankov.  It is an adapted version of J1mb0's crosshair system with some armor and gun info panels that pop up when an enemy tank is highlighted, to show enemy tank info.  Pretty awesome I thought.  It was 100% russian, and I translated it to english.  I also renamed and redid all the information in the info panels.  It is still missing info for some of the 0.7.3 and 0.7.4 tanks.  I updated most of the stats.  If someone else would like to continue the work on introducing new tank stats and updating gun stats, it would be most welcome.

Awesome, this is exactly what I've been looking for; but I'd rather wait until the armor profiles for the new tanks are done.

I probably won't be updating it myself because I am not too good with Adobe Flash yet.  I've only been using it for a little over a month now.  I am hoping someone in the community who is good with Flash sees this thread and is interested enough to continue the work on it.

OK, thanks.

I'm Using JimBo's Crosshair mod right now. It's a lot of help especially, knowing how long it takes for me to reload and be able to scoot somewhere else when needed.

Dumgard, this is my new go-to crosshair mod. You did an outstanding job with this mod! The english translations is great for the armor info, but what I like most are the blue reload ring and the understated crosshair. I hope you continue to update the mod. You are doing very well well for being new to mod-ing.

I don't even care that some tank info is missing, just the look and feel of this reticle mod is top notch! I love it.

Yes, I am serious and here is why:

As the OP stated, this is an english translation of a russian mod that is actually a mash up of crosshairs from J1mB0, marsoff, dab97, and sanek19841. Here is a link to the original mod on Drongo: http://drongo-lab.ru/archives/28064

I have been using the Russian version for a couple of weeks and I like the arcade crosshair panel, reload counter, and that the user of the highlighted tank is displayed in the top left corner. In sniper mode, the panel once again has a nice layout and it gives you armor values of the highlighted tank. I have come to rely this information in my battles. The distracting part was the russian language, but I lived with it. The OP fixed the distracting part and now I have a crosshair panel in English that IMHO is the best out there.

As to the crosshair and dispersion indicator: If you don't like it, then use something else. The magic sauce is in the panels, the rest can all be fixed with a change of the crosshair_sniper.swf file.

Don't dimiss the entire mod just because of the crosshair. And, certainly don't disparage the OP because he obviously put quite a bit of time into translating the text portions of the mod.

I have a problem with this- The lower left Box that shows all of the damaged modules you have and stuff is covering up a little more than half of the armor panel (or the thing that shows you the armor thickness of the tank your aiming at, whatever its called). I have discovered there isn't a way to make the box smaller or transparent, help!

This likely has to do with your game screen resolution.  Try changing your resolution to be bigger if you can.

So many hateful people leaving bad remarks on posts and items that people have put work and effort into to share with others. If your here leaving negative remarks apparently you needed something someone else made for us to use and your still ungrateful!
If it wasnt for people like Dumgard we wouldnt have anything useful to help our game play with etc.
So maybe next time try and be more understanding about the work and time n effort that is put into these mods etc that we all use and love to find.
Or go away!

Good Job Dumgrad!

Confirming this works with 7.5 - but still need someone to update this for the newer vehicles.
