I think its fair to say that outside of matchmaker & possibly arty, the topic that gets most airtime in the forum is the TK/TD system. The Team Killer Halt thread is out to 40+ pages now & there is always a new thread popping up with complaints about people being fined due to a tank running into them etc. I think most people would view the TK/TD system as imperfect but would also agree that some sort of deterrent is required. I don't like being fined when someone crashes into me, but I can't come up with anything better in relation to accidental team damage so basically I grit my teeth and cop it as most people do.
The problem I have with the system is that those that deliberately set out to damage team mates are treated no differently than the rest of us. I've mentioned this possible solution on a couple of smaller threads and decided it might be worth floating it outright to see what people's opinions were.
As every shot we fire in the game is "recorded", I would assume this is doable. My proposal would be anyone who fires more than one shot in a game causing damage to a team mate is immediately flagged & treated more harshly. Most of us have hit a team mate at some stage, whether from a carelessly fired round, or having a team mate run across our sniper view just as we fire. Regardless of your point of view about where the fault lies, it is an accident & rarely repeated in the same game.
For those who set out to kill or severely damage team mates with multiple shots, my proposal would be that in the first instance of multiple team damage in a single game, they are fined 10 times the damage they have caused & if this means that the system has to deduct credits from their bank rather than just giving a zero credit for that game, then good. If they cause multiple damage in another game within the following 2 month period, the fine would again kick in again along with a 2 day ban. Do it again within 2 months & cop the fine and a 5 day ban. Fourth time in 2 months, account deleted.
If you have 2 "clean" months without multiple team damage following any of the fine increments, your slate is wiped clean & you go back to step one if you transgress again. The penalties and time period are just a suggestion, others may have better ideas, but basically my view is that anyone who manages to cause multiple damage to team mates 4 times in a 2 month (for instance) period really shouldn't be playing anyway.
I understand there will be people who will have concerns about splash damage etc & while it might be a little harsh on arty players (for instance) if you have to spend 2 or 5 or 10 mins of your gaming life playing more carefully than usual in order to avoid a second lot of team damage in one game, I don't see that as unreasonable if the benefit of that system is the opportunity to weed out people who get off on damaging their team mates deliberately.
I also accept that this system isn't going to catch someone who deliberately fires at a team mate once, but then a single shot isn't going to have a massive impact on most vehicles, compared to a guy that might normally shoot someone 3 or 4 times. It's still not a perfect system, but as stated, the intent is to find and punish players who like damaging team mates compared to those who do it accidentally.
I look forward to your opinions. Cheers!

I recommend a bounty system in which WoT Enables silver or gold bounty payouts to people who kill Screen shot and send info to that person...

You see, there is a problem even with this sort of arrangement. Some people just plain have a short fuse. A TK shoots their tank once, the shot person swings around and destroys the TK. And often, one shot is all it takes. Which one is the TK in this case? The one who may have shot accidentally, as they would no doubt plead, or the one who destroyed someone else's tank? You end up banning the person who would otherwise be fine to play, and end up rewarding the troublemaker.
You see, TK's don't abuse the system. They take advantage of other people. It's like Nigerian faxes (or email these days), they take advantage of people who believe they must do something, when doing nothing would actually help them more.

bounty payouts....who are you....Jonathan Hex, Wild Bill Hickok, Lucky Luke.....are you out of your mind....I have damaged or killed my fair share of team mates and apart from 2 times always accidentally. Punish yes...but don't put a system in place where players look for players trying to hunt in a bounty of some sort.

Bounty Payouts? Sure ok...
I'll just have my friend TK me and collect the reward.
We can split it 50/50.
