Rather boring read, and we knew most of it already. One thing that irked me:
Oh yes, because massive repair bills, high ammo costs, being one-shotted by 2K damage artillery from across the map, and retarded matchmaking don't pressure you AT ALL into spending money!

Unlike many free-to-play titles, World of Tanks doesn't pressure the player into buying a ton of paid options.

I suggest fixing Russian to English translation errors with "Tactical Gamer Talks With Wargaming.net" article. http://www.tacticalg...gaming-net.html
useless = usefull
can't but avail of = can avail
"Aleksandr Zezulin: We cooperate a lot within the company and can’t but avail of the WoT team experience and resources. They’ve learned many useless lessons during World of Tanks development. Their advice helps us avoid certain pitfalls and fosters WoWP dev process a good deal."

FYI.... There is a rouge security malware on an ad at the Tactical Gamer website where the article is. My computer picked up "Live Security Platnium" malware after I clicked on the link and began to read the article. It got past my antivirus software. Be careful.

I found it an interesting and informative read. Some people are always with the negative vibes. Why? (that's rhetorical).

I love this game: graphics are great, effects are great, matchmaker is great 99% percent of the time, easy to learn to play it. 100% fun....keep up the good work.

Listing Peak and total by server would have been useful. Swapping back and forth looks odd.
Andrei Yarantsau: Europe is close to a million active users, we have around 30, 000 people playing World of Tanks in North America, and breached impressive 423,000 users playing online at the same time on the Russian cluster this spring. The SEA region is about 150,000 concurrent players.
I for one have never seen the US peek at that number. Hell even when the vaunted(for at least a little while..pre-nerf hammer) French came out the most I had ever seen on was 26-27k. These days you are consider it a busy night if you see 23k on.
Again...WG should look into why in the heck their numbers are pathetic in the US,

With the majority of people on our NA server b!tchin and moaning about their tank was nerfed, this is OP, this map sucks..... no wonder it takes awhile for something to get done. We're a drop in the bucket of their player base, and probably the most complaining about EVERYTHING.
As for why our numbers are low.... look at our young generation in NA. There's no patriotism, most kids/teens/ young men in their 20's prefer call of duty type games or halo type games.... more fantasy based. This game delves into the more historical aspects of previous wars/ battles. Then look at the other countries in Europe and Russia..... their youngsters while I'm sure they like the same games ours do, they have instilled upon them country pride, honor of their ancestors battles, and many of them serve in their militaries. You just don't see that stuff any more here in the US, our kids are more worried about their Ipods n such.
Neg rep me all you want..... Look at our forums, a good 75% or more of it is griping about something they don't like with the game. And I guarantee if wot collected statistical data on creating accounts to play on, it would show the majority of NA players are males in the late 20's-40 age range

Well I am held captive on the NA server due to unclear download links. I played here for ages without even realising I was on the NA server, or indeed that the EU server existed.
Now they won't let me move to the EU server so I can play clan wars at a social time, not 4AM, giving the usual 'not at this time' crap.
Was hoping they would mention something about plans for unified servers or transfers, but I guess my thread with 231 replies and 5,186 views is just going to be ignored.
Maybe I need to learn some Russian and post over there :/
For anyone who wants to lend us captives some support:
